Description

MXR and Third Man Hardware have teamed up to create the perfect booster. The Double Down Pedal combines two separate MXR Micro Amp circuits into a single box, so you can have two distinct signal chains with just the right amount of classic Micro Amp bump.

One input, two outputs, and two knobs: the Double Down is a simple yet incredibly powerful pedal that allows you to drive two separate signal chains simultaneously. The Double Down Pedal's single input jack splits your signal into two separate outputs, each with its own Gain control for up to +26dB of signal boost power.

On the left side of the enclosure, there's a phase switch that adds a striking stereo effect by reversing the phase of the second output signal. On the right side of the pedal, there's a Buffer switch, so you can choose between true bypass and buffered bypass switching to keep your sound intact when driving two signal chains.

  • Pedal Type: Boost
  • Input: 1 x 1/4"
  • Outputs: 2 x 1/4"
  • True Bypass: Switchable to Buffered
  • Power Source: 1 x 9V battery (remove bottom plate for installation), or 9V AC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003EU or the MXR® BrickTM series power supply.
  • Current Draw: 11 mA (Power supply and battery not included)
