Very high quality with a good construction, easily adjustable to any size you want, and very convenient the small adjustment it has on the base for the laser. The only possibly negative thing is that the tripod doesn't have a sturdy feel. Other than that, it's worth buying. Also, the carrying case is very convenient afterwards

  • In one line:
Good product for its price and competition, with some parts having borderline construction quality.

    Positives:
    1. The aluminum poles are quite sturdy (compared to the rest) and connect well.
    2. The height adjustment is decent, not perfect for fine-tuning, but it locks and gets the job done.
    3. It is lightweight and the case is good, can be carried with a shoulder strap, and has various compartments, even for the laser (but lacks padding for protection).
    4. The magnets on the laser base are strong and provide security when used on metal beams and columns, even with relatively heavy lasers.
    5. It can be used with or without a tripod.
    6. The laser base is quickly detachable (magnetically) from the pole base, so transitioning from pole to beam, shelf, or floor is seamless.

    Negatives:
    1. The laser base is made of soft plastic and flexes heavily, unless the laser is light, fortunately within the laser's correction range. Overall, the plastic parts are all mediocre or below.
    2. The 5/8 adapter does not have a clear hole (at least in the version I received), so lasers with plumb dots cannot pass the vertical spike on the floor. This is because the 1/4 screw cannot be removed, and the 5/8 is simply a thread adapter. The adaptation should have been reversed to leave a gap. Some product photos online showed it as clear.
    3. Only the tripod has a level, not the base, so for leveling without a tripod, the laser's level must be used, if available.
    4. The pole base is not quickly detachable with a clip, meaning it needs to be slid all the way to the end to enter or exit the poles, which makes work difficult in several cases, especially when using a tripod.
    5. The ceiling mounting system for the pole does not have a very good tightening mechanism, but it gets the job done with some care.
    6. The extension tightening is peculiar and comes apart. Avoid overtightening.

It is a very high-quality product, the tube is made of aluminum and so is the tripod. It is 2 in 1, you can use it either with the tripod or without it, with mounting on top and bottom. It has an adapter for connecting with the laser and 1/4 and 5/8. The adjustable base for laser support is also very helpful for fine adjustments
