Description

The Makita BL4080F (191X65-8) 40v Max XGT 8Ah battery has been developed for high-demand tools used in continuous operations. The housing has a new design that protects the battery from dust and moisture, while the shock-absorbing coating protects it from damage from impact falls. The bidirectional digital communication between the battery, the tool, and the charger protects the battery from overcharging, overheating, and the smart integrated monitoring records detailed information about the battery's history. Other features include a 4 LED battery fuel gauge and a cooling system for optimal charging time of just 76 minutes.

  • The batteries deliver 40V, which is twice the voltage of the 18V batteries of the LXT® platform. The XGT® battery is even more robust and water-resistant compared to an LXT® battery. All battery types communicate with the charger during charging. However, only the XGT® battery offers new features that are not available in the LXT® battery.
