The ARDEUSI-002SMEV is a standalone integrated system for automation or remote management of irrigation. It consists of a solenoid valve, a photovoltaic panel, a soil moisture sensor, and a central data logging unit. The data logging unit is provided with 2G/4G connectivity, and the user can access the system data through the ardeusi.gr platform, where they can automate irrigation using data from the moisture sensor or by applying scheduling or manually opening and/or closing the solenoid valve. Additionally, users can use rules (e.g. open the solenoid valve if the moisture falls below a certain value or close the solenoid valve if the moisture exceeds a certain value) and create custom notifications that they receive via email (e.g. notification when the moisture or battery falls below a certain threshold). The system is powered by a small photovoltaic panel and does not require specialized knowledge for installation as it is designed with plug-and-play architecture. The system has a built-in SIM card with lifetime free internet connection. Additionally, remote rebooting is possible in case of failure. The solution is ideal for cases where remote control or full automation of irrigation and watering is needed. It can be used wherever there is mobile network signal and does not require power supply as it is completely energy autonomous. Through full automation of irrigation, the user does not need to set schedules and monitor the status of their crops/garden. Even in case of malfunction (e.g. water outage), the system will send the appropriate notification to the user to take action accordingly. Examples of placement: agricultural plots, flowerbeds, green spaces, gardens, greenhouses.
