Greek traditional music through seven musical excerpts from folk songs from all over Greece. On each spread, there are the lyrics of each excerpt and a corresponding illustration by children's book illustrator Giota Kokkosi.
Additionally, each song includes a question aimed at enhancing children's observational skills.

Very nice children's book, our little one loves the illustrations and can now press the buttons for the songs by herself. It is lightweight and she handles it well. The material is durable and of good quality. I encountered the following issue, which is why I am deducting one star: I left the mechanism open on 'on' a few times and it started playing songs by itself at night. I intentionally left it during the day to see if it was accidentally pressed, but it still started by itself. This only happened with the song on the first page that has an external button on the cover. Other than that, it's a very beautiful book, we will definitely get the edition with the island songs as well. It would be a good idea to also release it with Pontic songs.
Πολύ ωραίο παιδικό βιβλίο, στη μικρή μας αρέσει η εικονογράφηση και πλέον μπορεί μόνη της να πατάει τα κουμπιά για τα τραγούδια. Είναι ελαφρύ και το επεξεργάζεται. Το υλικό είναι ανθεκτικό και ποιοτικό. Αντιμετώπισα το εξής ζήτημα, για αυτό και κόβω το ένα αστέρι, άφησα κάποιες φορές τον μηχανισμό ανοιχτό στο on και ξεκίνησε μόνος του να παίζει τραγούδια τη νύχτα. Το άφησα επίτηδες και την ημέρα για να δω αν πατήθηκε καταλάθος αλλά και πάλι ξεκίνησε μόνο του. Αυτό συνέβη μόνο με το τραγούδι της πρώτης σελίδας που έχει κουμπάκι εξωτερικό στο εξώφυλλο. Κατά τα άλλα πολύ όμορφο βιβλίο, σίγουρα θα πάρουμε και την έκδοση με τα νησιώτικα. Θα ήταν καλή ιδέα να βγει και με ποντιακά τραγούδια.
Good idea, but the implementation is very rushed. The excerpts from the songs are cut off too abruptly, as if there was no time to use the fader or better calculate the chorus to be used. It's a shame, it could have been really worthwhile, even so I hope it gives the younger ages the incentive for their first contact with our traditional songs.

Τα αποσπάσματα από τα τραγούδια κόβονται πολύ απότομα, λες και δεν υπήρχε ώρα να χρησιμοποιήσουν το fader ή να υπολογίσουν καλύτερα το ρεφραίν που θα χρησιμοποιήσουν. Κρίμα, θα μπορούσε να ήταν πραγματικά άξιο, έστω κι έτσι ελπίζω να δώσει στις τρυφερές ηλικίες το έναυσμα για την πρώτη επαφή με τα παραδοσικά μας τραγούδια.
Excellent book for young children, we have many music books, jazz, reggae, classical, rock, etc., but this one is the most enjoyable, obviously because of the Greek lyrics.
The quality is impeccable, thick cardboard pages that don't easily tear.
Just like in the other music books we have, the song "plays" for a few seconds, just enough, it would be a shame if it lasted as long as the regular song, then we would buy a CD instead of a book.
We will also buy the other book in the series "our first island books"

Η ποιότητα του άψογη, χοντρά χάρτινα φύλλα, δεν σκίζονται εύκολα.
Όπως και στα άλλα μουσικά βιβλία που έχουμε το τραγούδι "παίζει" για λίγα δευτερόλεπτα, όσο πρέπει, αλίμονο αν κρατούσε όσο το κανονικό τραγούδι, θα αγοράζαμε CD τότε και όχι βιβλίο.
Θα αγοράσουμε και το έτερο βιβλίο της σειράς "τα πρώτα μας νησιώτικα βιβλία"
