Good light, and they seem to be of good quality, but in the SEAT ARONA they immediately produce a CANBUS error. They were tested in the reverse position.

They were purchased to be installed in a FORD FOCUS MK1 (2004 Hatchback) for reverse and fog lights. They are incredibly bright in a pure white light and the upgrade was definitely worth it. They only consume 5W and the battery consumption has significantly decreased compared to the 21W that the factory halogen bulbs used to consume.

However, they are not suitable for flashing lights, be careful! They do not have a built-in resistor, so if you install them, you will face the hyperflash phenomenon where they blink rapidly. If you choose them for flashing lights and do not want to get other bulbs specifically designed for this purpose in orange color, you will need to have an orange light to prevent them from appearing white, and also change the flasher relay to an LED type. If you do not want/cannot change it, you will need to install resistors to make them blink normally.

If, on the other hand, you are one of the lucky ones who already have an LED flasher in your car, they will work perfectly as flash lights. However, in this case, you would not be looking for bulbs because your car would already have LED lights.. :)

Overall, they are among the highest quality bulbs available. They have been installed since Spring 2020 and they are still working fine. The reverse light, which is frequently used, has worked perfectly, while the fog light has only been used a few times, admittedly. As mentioned before, they are recommended for the reverse and/or fog light positions.

They are also not suitable for STOP lights because you would need to get the dual-pole version of this bulb (BAY15D base), which I have and it works great! If you pay attention, this one has a pole underneath, so it is not suitable for running/STOP lights. For running/STOP lights, you need a lower current for the running lights and a higher current for the STOP lights, hence the dual-pole base. They are sold in pairs and the price is for both, let's clarify that as well.

The BA15S is the typical bayonet with symmetrical tabs placed 180 degrees apart. You need to check first if this base is suitable for your car. It is also available in various other bases with non-symmetrical tabs (BAU15S) at 150 degrees, as well as completely different bases for other cars. If your car already uses BA15S, it is suitable for you. To avoid confusion with the different bases available for bayonet, I am including a sketch that shows their differences, so you can choose the right one for your car.
