The sowing of lettuce is staggered (repeated): We start with sowing in a greenhouse in trays for the period of February-March, and from April to August, we sow directly in the field.
We transplant the small plants about a month after sowing, that is, as soon as they reach a height of 3-4 cm.
In the case that we sow directly in the field, we need to thin the plants so that they have a distance of 25 cm between them.
The harvest takes place about 80-90 days after sowing. If you sow in August, you have a chance to harvest in the fall.
