The Echo 70 is an impressive, handcrafted floor vase with a rust color and technique from the Danish house MUUBS.
The characteristic of the Echo vase is its rusty and interesting terracotta surface, created through a specific process of painting and firing. The vase is first painted black and then white. To create the rusty and smoky surface, the paint is gently burned with a gas flame, and an antique coating is applied. Finally, the vase is coated to make the surface more durable.
Each Echo vase is unique and handmade, so the texture and surface vary in color and shape. The Echo vase is intended for indoor use only. Do not plant directly in the vase as water may damage its material. Place branches or dried flowers, and the result will be unique.
