    It works for resolutions up to 1920 (4K) and below...
    At 2560x1440, where I work on my PC, it overheats and shuts down all the HDMI ports!!! Not always, but 2 to 3 times a week!
    At 1920 resolution, even if you have it open all day, it has never shut down on me!!
