Description

Kyr-Yianni Estate was founded in 1997 by Yiannis Boutaris. Today, his son Stellios Boutaris, a fourth-generation winemaker, leads the Kyr-Yianni team in the next phase of the Estate's evolutionary journey.

The queen of the Greek vineyard, Malagouzia, was planted in a small 8-hectare vineyard at an altitude of 720 meters on the hill of Samaropetra in Amyntaio in 2004. The vineyard's orientation is northwest with an average slope of up to 15%. The area's climate is characterized by cold winters and warm summers, favoring the cultivation of white varieties.

The soils of the vineyards are sandy and poor, contributing to the production of wines with exceptional finesse and rich aroma.
