Area of Upper Chalandri, in Athens, at the foot of Hymettus. Although the distance from the antennas of the stations in this specific area is not large, and from the roof of the duplex where I live there is a line of sight to the antennas, none of the indoor antennas I had tried (even those with the highest gain) gave me a signal, resulting in me returning all of them.

I had specifically bought this one for another use, to have it with a small portable television, as due to its size it could fit in the television's carrying case.

However, a damage to the external antenna led me to use it, even though I believed that since the other stronger and larger indoor antennas I had tried did not work, this one could not do any better.

The result pleasantly surprised me. Not only did it catch a signal from all the channels on the first try, but it also received the HD broadcasts of the channels without any "cutting" in the image and sound. And this despite the fact that it is placed less than a meter away from the wireless modem-router of the house. Of course, I should note that the attempt with the other antennas was made about 1-1.5 years ago, so I keep in mind the possibility that the stations may have increased the signal strength from the antennas of Hymettus.

The only "limitation" I noticed (which is why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars) is the fact that it needs to be close to a window to work smoothly, meaning it should not be, for example, behind the television and between the television and the wall, because there it probably will not work. Also, its base has a magnet, but personally, I would prefer it to be stronger so that the base does not need to be mostly covered by metal for the magnet to hold well (as you should also consider the additional weight from the cable). If I wanted to... "whine" a bit, I would say that I would like a carrying case as well, but at 14.9 euros which I bought it for 2.5 years ago (today you can find it for about 1 euro more), I shouldn't ask for everything...

Finally, even though I haven't tried it this way, I assume it can work without power (obviously with significantly lower performance, as is logical), but since the power cable ends in a male USB plug, you can use it with power even inside the car (from a mobile phone charger for the car) if you have a portable television, as the cable is long enough to place the antenna to stick with the magnetic base on the roof of the car, and then run the cable inside the car through the window.

I would recommend it without hesitation, as the build quality is excellent. And if you find that it doesn't meet your needs, you can always return it to the store.

UPDATE 12/1/25

The antenna continues to function as I described above, I just noticed that its performance is significantly affected when it is within 2 - 2.5 meters of... a running vacuum cleaner! At one point, my mother-in-law vacuumed right next to it, and immediately the image "pixelated" completely and did not return. Once it was moved more than 2-2.5 meters away, it returned.
