I have been shaving with Philips electric shavers for 50 years (!!!), since I was 17. My previous review was for the 6630, which was flawless in terms of quality and battery life, but after about a year and a half it developed what seemed to be a manufacturing problem: the detachable head would come off while I was shaving. At the dealership where I had bought it (Lolosidis - Sound and Vision), they accepted the problem and replaced it FREE OF CHARGE with the larger and much more expensive model, the S7886!!!!! I have had it for 5 years now and it is flawless. The best Philips I have ever had; its battery lasts for more than 20-30 shaves of about 4-5 minutes each. A deep and fast shave, especially if you shave often (every day or every other day), and an integrated trimmer for sideburns. After about 5 years I did not even need to replace the heads, and the washing-cleaning system that comes with it, with the special bowl you dip it into, is an amazing invention and cleans it perfectly (of course, first you empty it of the many hairs). I should note, of course, for the skeptics, that no electric shaver can shave against the grain like a razor!! But if you want to get something that will last you a lifetime, don't think twice; no matter how expensive it may seem, Philips technology in shavers is unsurpassed!!!
