The K&F Concept Classic Series Slim Multicoated Circular Polarizing Filter has a diameter of 67mm and is made from multi-layer glass. It helps reduce reflections and glare by filtering light that has been polarized due to reflection from non-metallic surfaces. Light from the sun becomes partially polarized as it reflects off electrons in air molecules, causing the light to scatter in a fog-like manner. A polarizing filter regulates and directionally filters the polarized light, allowing for the absorption of some of this light. This results in a noticeable reduction in glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and increases the saturation of the sky and foliage.
The filter is made from optical glass from Japan for clarity as well as color fidelity, and features a multi-layer coating to prevent internal ghosting and reflections.
