I don't think the No1 nipple will help much; our newborn struggled and had a hard time. With No2, it's just fine, not too much comes out but the baby doesn't struggle either. In general, I conclude that the most important thing is the nipple size; there are definitely more affordable bottles than this one that do the same or even better job, you just need to find which one suits your baby.
