It worked very well and I was very satisfied. Until I needed to charge it for the second time. It never worked again.
I submitted a request about the problem and the service was immediate, with a replacement of the machine.

So, the machine works well, I have only tried it for dry shaving without foam or water. You don't feel anything, it doesn't pull and it gives a deep shave.
On the negative side, my only complaint, hence the 4 stars, is that it leaves some hairs untouched and you have to go over them 2 or 3 times. I don't know why this happens, while it cleans everything, for example it leaves 1 hair untouched, and if you go over it again it remains untouched and needs a 2nd or 3rd pass. Maybe it's the direction (angle) of the hair, I don't know. Also, it's a bit difficult due to the geometry on the mustache, but it's okay, with a little experience you manage. On the positive side, it also has a special case where the hairs from shaving fall in and you don't make a mess in the bathroom. I will also try wet shaving and see.

update: I lowered it to 3 stars. It continues to leave hairs that it doesn't cut. In the end, I am forced to use a razor.

The Philips 5000 series is always value for money in all its machines. Excellent tool. If I could, I would go for the 7000 as well. The higher series have been manufactured in the Netherlands since 2020.

3rd Philips machine in 35 years (I mean I managed with the previous 2 all these years! Of course, with periods where I shaved with a razor or had a beard, like now). So as you can imagine, I liked this one a lot after the first uses. I should note that I have shaved my face only once, as I currently have a beard, but the reason I bought it, and I am surprised no one else has shared a similar experience, was for shaving my head. My routine is every 12-15 days I use the hair clipper with no guard and then a shaver. And this model excelled here! If I want to keep my head completely shaved, I just repeat with the shaver every 2-3 days. So keep this in mind if you do something similar.

P.S.: I should also mention that I haven't done a thorough cleaning yet (like removing the heads) to share my experience on that

I had never used such a razor before and I was very skeptical—I have thick facial hair and in many spots the hair grows in different directions. Today I had my first shave and it was superb. Very fast—it didn’t need many passes—it didn’t irritate and overall it was much more comfortable. Most importantly—it doesn’t throw hairs all over the place. I finished shaving and not a single hair had fallen.

Philips is a reliable choice for shavers. So far, so good. After all, I had the same brand’s shaver for 10 years without even changing the blades. That’s why I chose the same brand again. The only negative I find is that in some areas where the skin is softer, like low on the neck, it doesn’t cut well and requires quite a bit of effort. Other than that, I don’t find anything negative.

Finally, the best machine—you really think a razor was used and not a machine. Amazing result, worth its money

Excellent machine with reasonable cost. In the 30 years that I have been using an electric shaver, this is the third one I have purchased and clearly the best. All Philips. The fully charged battery lasts for about 6-7 shaves. It is very easy to clean with a little water. The blades, which are the same as the more expensive Series 7, cost around 40 euros and need to be replaced every 2 years. The only thing that bothered me is that the package does not include the charger that goes with the USB cable of the desktop charger that comes with the package. Fortunately, it fits any mobile phone charger. In conclusion, an excellent product worth the approximately 90 euros that I spent.
