For an entry-level graphics card, it is a beast.
The best value for money implementation of the RTX 4070.
It has a metal back plate.
It maintains low temperatures even when the fans are on.
In demanding titles, it holds 60 fps in many games at 1080p resolution.
It is not a coincidence that in 2024 it is still one of the best (in the top 20) high-performance cards. Graphics are full in everything and temperatures range from 35-40 degrees max to 50-55 in heavy games and programs (without any cooling and only with fans).
Although Asus's dual series is the budget implementation, it has very good cooling for the money you pay compared to other companies, plus the back plate is of good quality metal and properly supports the card and is not just a cover (plastic in other brands)! If you switch the dual bios switch to quiet, it becomes the quietest on the market! P.S. because I was monitoring prices on cards for quite some time, about 4 months, they have become worse than the stock market, these fluctuations are unacceptable!
I chose this implementation because of the dual bios. The Quiet bios is really silent. It has impressed me.
It was purchased at the price of 580€ and replaced a 2070. The differences are huge in the increase of FPS even though the 2070 remains a beast in 2024.
The temperatures of this particular model are cool. I saw 58c in 2 games that I have tried so far. The very good airflow in my case also plays a role, so this number may be different for you.
This specific Asus model is beautiful with an aluminum backplate (as opposed to plastic on most cards).
Combine it with a good CPU to avoid bottleneck and enjoy it to the fullest. Personally, I have the 13700KF. The 13600K is also a very good choice, as well as 12th generation CPUs (i5 and above). The same applies to the latest and penultimate generation Ryzen CPUs.
The card is excellent, the temperature is 20 degrees lower than the 2070 Super I had. For the 580 euros I bought it, it's okay
I have it for 1 month on a new pc with ryzen7900. I play games like cod at 4k 100fps and the resolve where I edit videos doesn't have any issues. I'm happy with the purchase at €620, I'm very satisfied
Excellent card, I clearly saw a significant difference compared to the AMD RX590 Nitro I had before. I mainly got it for photography and video, the only game I play is Diablo, it works with two FHD 1080 screens and an 850W power supply. I am completely satisfied with the purchase, it doesn't make any noise, normal temperatures, and overall it is a very good implementation. The card was one of the few high-quality known brand cards that fit in the case, so I was looking for something very specific in the 4070 plain version though.
