Heine Delta 20T Dermatoscope with precision optics and the ability to instantly select between polarized and non-polarized lighting. Early diagnosis of malignant melanoma during the examination of skin lesions and moles is crucial for the progression of the disease. The dermatoscope provides an easy and safe solution for this examination.

The skin surface partially absorbs and refracts light. A liquid immersion medium is applied between the dermatoscope and the skin (dermatoscopy oil). Alternatively, polarized light is used to observe colored cells or other structures in the deeper layers of the skin layer. There is a need for alternative contact lenses (contact lens N for immersion and contact lens P for polarization).

The Heine Delta 20T Dermatoscope combines the two techniques in one instrument, with precision optics and the ability to instantly select between polarized and non-polarized lighting. There is no need to switch contact lenses, while contact dermatoscopy is possible through an immersion lens.

It features functional characteristics and build quality. High-performance LEDs produce homogeneous and bright lighting with an excellent color rendering index (CRI > 87). 2 of the LEDs can optionally be turned off for lateral lighting.
