Silk Amino Acids are derived from the hydrolysis of pure silk fibers and have a very low molecular weight, which allows them to penetrate deeply into the layers of the epidermis and hair. This gives them moisturizing, anti-wrinkle, and anti-aging properties.

The liquid silk is rich in serine, which binds natural moisture in the skin and hair. Hairs stop being dry and brittle, while the skin gains radiance and softness.

It contains the protein fibroin, responsible for the smooth and silky texture. Silk amino acids are water-soluble and ideal for moisturizing creams, body butters, body lotions, cleansers, toners, shampoos, conditioners, and hair masks.

The liquid silk is used in cosmetics at a concentration of 1-2.5%. The silk amino acids are odorless and colorless or pale yellow. They are derived from the silkworm of the species Bombyx mori and are collected without harm to the insect or its natural environment. They are 100% pure and Parabens Free.
