A boy carries an unusual friend in his bicycle basket, wrapped in a white sheet, a small alien who has lost his way on Earth and is being pursued by government forces. In their attempt to find his kind and return to his world, the two friends run towards a California forest, where the spaceship that will rescue him is supposed to land. To escape a police blockade, the little alien uses his telekinetic abilities to levitate the bicycle, lifting them into the air and flying over the trees towards their destination. This iconic scene, with the moon in the background, was also used in the promotion of the film, making it one of the most recognizable and striking images in cinema, even acquiring the logo of Amblin Entertainment, the film production company of Steven Spielberg, and is now proudly reproduced with the statue “ET & Elliot – Art Scale 1/10 Deluxe – ET – Iron Studios”
