Overall, the shoes are praised mainly for their good grip and lightweight, stable feel. Users report comfort and a good feel on a variety of terrains, from dirt roads to rocky trails. However, several point out premature wear or tearing on the sole and heel, while grip can be inadequate on wet or muddy ground.
Having run about 400km with the shoes, I can now have a complete opinion. They have covered kilometers in races plus training on various terrains, from very rocky to dirt roads with some asphalt. Your foot fits very nicely inside, and you have a sense of where you step. They are stiff, not like Hoka Speedgoat, you will feel the vibrations! The laces, if tied properly, are very hard to come undone.
As for wear, from the midsole and front, the lugs have disappeared; I expected them to last more kilometers. Fortunately, the rear part did not open to the extent that I see in the photos; it may be due to the fact that I land on the front part and not on the heel. Fortunately, in the Peregrine 15, they have changed the design. From the top side, they are in excellent condition even though they have endured rain, mud, stones, etc.

Έχοντας κάνει περίπου 400km με τα παπούτσια πλέον μπορώ να εχω μια ολοκληρωμένη άποψη. Διάνυσαν χιλιόμετρα σε αγώνες συν προπόνηση σε διάφορα τερρεν, απο πολύ πέτρα μέχρι και χωματόδρομους με λιγο άσφαλτο. Το ποδι σου κουμπώνει πολύ ωραία μεσα και εχεις αισθηση που πατας. Ειναι σκληρό, δεν ειναι τύπου hoka speedgoat, θα νιώσετε κραδασμούς! Τα κορδόνια εαν δεθούν σωστά πολυ δύσκολα να λυθούν.
Όσον αναφορά τη φθορά, απο μεση και μπροστα τα τακουκια εχουν εξαφανιστεί, περίμενα να βγαλει παραπάνω χιλιομετρα. Ευτυχώς έμενα στο πισω μερος δεν ανοιξε σε τετοιο βαθμο που βλεπω στις φωτογραφίες, μπορει να οφείλεται στο οτι προσγειώνομαι με το μπροστινό μέρος και όχι με την φτέρνα. Ευτυχώς στο peregrine 15 εχουν αλλάξει τον σχεδιασμό. Απο την πάνω μεριά ειναι σε αριστη κατάσταση παρόλο που εχει φαει βροχές, λασπες, πετρες κτλ

The sole ripped as seen in the photo after the first 150 km of training and the stones were digging into my heel! I threw them in the trash!
Σκίστηκε η σόλα όπως φαίνεται στη φωτογραφία από τα πρώτα 150 χλμ προπόνησης και μου κάρφωναν οι πέτρες στην φτέρνα! Τα πέταξα στα σκουπίδια!
The worst 100 euros I have spent on trail running shoes.
Decent grip on various terrains. Soft for my taste, as I learned with lasportiva (kataferakias), my foot turned once and in the first month of wearing them for a walk, my right heel started to hurt. I put a cushion and the problem was fixed.
I entered a 21 km race with 1600 meters of altitude without much difficulty, and my left heel was cut from the inside part again. From the first 50 km, the outer adhesive started to come off around the edges. I will not buy them again. They are only worth it for those who find them comfortable to wear and for a few races or training sessions. I believe they are OK for a simpler walk or mountain hike for someone. With reservations again. I give 2 stars because they look nice on the outside and have a decent fit except for the heel.

Καλούτσικο κράτημα σε διάφορα τεραίν. μαλακό για τα γούστα μου που έμαθα με lasportiva(κατηφοράκιας) , γύρισε και μια φορά το πόδι και τον πρώτο μήνα που τ α φορούσα για βόλτα να πάρει φόρμα το πόδι ήδη ξεκίνησε να με χτυπάει η δεξια φτέρνα. έβαλα μαξιλαράκι έφτιαξε το πρόβλημα.
μπαίνω σε έναν αγώνα 21 χλμ 1600 υψομετρικά χωρίς πολύ ζόρι, προπονητικά και μου κόπηκε η αριστερή φτέρνα από τα π΄σιω μέρος πάλι. από τα πρώτα 50 χλμ άρχισε να ξεκολλάει το εξωτερικό αυτοκόλλητο περιμετρικά. Δεν θα τα ξαναπάρω. αξίζει μόνο για όσους το βολεύει στο πάτημα και για λίγους αγώνες- προπονήσεις. για πιο απλή βόλτα και περπάτημα βουνό πιστεύω είναι ΟΚ. για κάποιον. με επιφυλάξεις πάλι. Βάζω 2 αστέρια γιατί είναι όμορφο εξωτερικά και έχει καλούτσικη εφαρμογή αν εξαιρέσεις τη φτέρνα.
They were purchased in October 2023, with which I ran 4 races: Imittos Epic 24km, Dirfys Trail 16km, Artemisio 25K, and Kastoreios 21Km. The shoes made a hole exactly in the same spot where the Peregrine 12 had made, meaning on the heel in the soft plastic that is right in the center. The previous shoe had lasted for 10 races and quite a few training sessions, but it lasted a total of 9 months. The corresponding shoes from a well-known company last for 2 years, but most importantly, they don't betray you during the race like this model did twice. We are talking about a serious tear where a rock can fit. I have been running for 15 years and such a thing has never happened to me before.
It is ridiculous and tragic for a trail running shoe to suffer such damage with only four races. It is a shame that a shoe that has good grip, a decent drop, is comfortable and lightweight, is not at all durable due to a "trick" in the design that causes it to break at some point.
Dear Saucony, you took 200 € from me but the shoes are not worth it for races in the rugged mountains of Greece. However, if you want to go on trails with mild terrain (meaning exclusively dirt), for walks on Mount Hymettus, they are fine, or if you are extremely slow runners, then these shoes may be for you.

Τα παπούτσια έκαναν τρύπα ακριβώς στο ίδιο σημείο που είχε κάνει και το Peregrine 12, δλδ στο σημείο της φτέρνας στο μαλακό πλαστικό που έχει ακριβώς στο κέντρο. Το προηγούμενο παπούτσι είχε βγάλει 10 αγώνες και σχετικά αρκετές προπονήσεις, αλλά κράτησε 9 μήνες στο σύνολο. Τα αντίστοιχα παπούτσια γνωστής εταιρείας κρατάνε 2 χρόνια αλλά κυρίως δεν σε προδίδουν μέσα στον αγώνα όπως έγινε με αυτό το μοντέλο δύο φορές. Μιλάμε για σκίσιμο σοβαρό όπου χωράει πέτρα. Τρέχω 15 χρόνια και τέτοιο πράγμα δεν μου έχει συμβεί ξανά.
Είναι αστείο και τραγικό μαζί ένα παπούτσι για τρέξιμο στο βουνό να παθαίνει τέτοια φθορά με τέσσερις ΜΟΝΟ αγώνες. Είναι κρίμα ένα παπούτσι που έχει καλό grip, τίμιο drop, είναι άνετο και ελαφρύ, να μην είναι ΚΑΘΟΛΟΥ ανθεκτικό λόγω μιας «πονηριάς» στο design για να χαλάει κάποια στιγμή.
Αγαπητή Saucony πήρες 200 € από εμένα αλλά τα παπούτσια δεν αξίζουν για αγώνες στα κακοτράχαλα βουνά της Ελλάδας. Ωστόσο, αν θέλετε να πηγαίνετε σε μονοπάτια με ήπιο τερέν (δλδ αποκλειστικά χώμα), για βολτούλες στον Υμηττό είναι μια χαρά ή είστε εξαιρετικά αργοί/ες δρομείς τότε μπορεί αυτά τα παπούτσια να είναι για εσάς.
Very good construction of the upper part. They slide more than I expected in the mud. They hit a bit on the lacing if you tighten them (on downhill trails). The cracks on the soles are visible in the photos. The left one has opened up all the way to the top. This happened exactly after 2 months (130km) in total... unacceptable. I will contact Skroutz for a replacement.

Στις φωτό φαίνονται τα ρήγματα στις σόλες. Στην αριστερή έχει ανοίξει μέχρι πάνω. Αυτό έγινε στους 2 μήνες ακριβώς (130χλμ.) συνολικά.. απαράδεκτο. Θα επικοινωνήσω με το Σκρουτζ για αντικατάσταση..
