I had the previous model for over 20 years and it worked perfectly. I decided to buy the new model where the container comes out and is easier to clean. After 3-4 uses, the oil does not heat up as it should, resulting in the fries coming out boiled. I changed the thermostat in case that was the problem, but nothing. It doesn't work. What a waste of money!!!

quality construction, fast heating of frying oil, easy cleaning with the removable basket and even cooking with the rotating mesh. On the negative side, the small capacity.

I was ready to buy an air fryer. Fortunately, I didn't do it. Perfect frying (everything is crispy because it rotates) and fast. Very easy to clean and hassle-free operation. Kudos to the manufacturer for thinking of us who EAT oil.

Really the best one I have bought. It requires less oil compared to others, which is very important. All its parts are cleaned in the dishwasher and it is less bulky than others with a very good capacity. It's worth it!

I have had it for over 3 years and it is used at least 4 times a week. I bought it for just under 100€. I would buy it again at today's price of around 130€. It cleans very easily and fries wonderfully.

I have bought this deep fryer twice. Both times it lasted about 4 years without any problems, frying 1-2 times a week. Then, it started to trip the relay almost every time I used it. Sometimes, the relay would trip 3 times for just one frying. However, it fries well and without using too much oil.

I have been using a fryer for many years and have tried many different types and technologies. Without many words, it is the best by far compared to all other types of fryers. The only thing you need to be careful about is not to wait for the oil to burn before adding the potatoes. Just 5 minutes after turning it on, you put the potatoes in, adjust the temperature to 160 degrees, and as soon as the light goes out, the potatoes are ready for perfect frying. The operation of this specific fryer does have a flaw in temperature control, but if you do what I tell you, you will have it for years without any problems. Personally, I only use olive oil and change it every 5 frying sessions... Simply flawless!!
I read that it burns out the relay in many cases.. after a while, its resistance leaks and needs to be replaced. For anyone who is handy, it is easy to change and the spare part is not expensive. After the replacement, it works like new

I have had it for about 10 years. Overall, I am satisfied but lately, even for me, the leakage relay on the panel started to drop. Probably, the others who mention this mean the same thing. And I finally believe that the simpler ones are worth more.

Like other users, mine also had safety issues with the central panel. It has been repaired three times!!! but today, 16/01/2021, the same problems occurred again. Look for anything else besides this fryer.

It's a shame because although it appears and is a sturdy construction, the problems started from the first trimester when the general panel began to fall. Today, after 2 years and very limited use, we have reached the point where it no longer boils the oil but just heats it. I contacted Delonghi, which asked me to send it for service, something impractical for me since the transportation alone from the province costs 30 euros. It's not worth it... It's going to be thrown away. Overpriced. 150 euros and off in two years.

Completely useless. The thermal resistor burned during the first frying. We took it to the service and the resistor was replaced under warranty. Immediately after the second frying, the resistor burned again. Stay away.....useless fryer!!! Note that we followed the instructions for use to the letter.

Good fryer but I would say it's overpriced.

After three years, I decide that I will not deal with more complex fryers again (e.g. rotations, frying at an angle, etc.).

If I could go back in time, I would get something more economical and simple.

A major downside for me is that the temperature drops abruptly during immersion and it takes time to recover the temperature.

I bought it on 14/11/2018 and used it immediately. It makes crispy fries and meatballs. It also has a timer to adjust the minutes you want the food to be ready. The only downside for me is that it takes up a lot of space on the kitchen counter. However, I am satisfied with it as it cooks with 1200 liters and around 7-8 tablespoons of oil

Except for the fact that the indicators fade and the handle that raises and lowers the bucket is made of high-quality materials!

Very tasty fried potatoes!! Just a little oil 1.2 liters, normal potatoes in 10 minutes - crispy in 15 minutes. Nothing negative so far (Purchase date 6/10/14)

Fried potatoes are amazing!!!!! And anything else you can think of....fried flutes with ham or fried shrimps were cooked perfectly (like professional ones) and everything I fried was delicious and crispy!!!!! And above all, they were relaxing, clean, and odorless in the space. It's worth its money!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very good fryer, I bought it on 14/02/13 and immediately tried it by preparing potatoes that were very tasty. It takes a little oil as it claims, it produces many potatoes in each frying, and the house does not get dirty and does not smell at all. Easy to clean, detachable lid, detachable inner basket, washable and reusable filter up to 15-17 times (I believe it will be quite cheap when it needs replacement), and a cable that easily gathers at the back. The basket, if loaded with potatoes, at least from my experience, has them ready in 12-14 minutes, nicely browned. I imagine it will also work equally well for other foods such as fish croquettes, chicken, various meats, and many others. I will further test it and will come back with more feedback.
