With Merlin installed, it has been working flawlessly for 2.5 years, providing VPN to any device that connects (the main reason for choosing Merlin). It covers a 100 sq.m. apartment without any issue with power or speed (it is placed in the center).
At a lower price, it would be the best router.

I have put 2 at home together with a dsl-ac68 in order to create a mesh network. For two weeks now that I have been using it, it has not shown any problem or freeze, while the installation was also very easy, without me being a computer geek.
Update: I am reducing the rating because in the end with an rt-ac3200 that I had before, these 2 had better signal and greater coverage (with one of the two ac68 being in the same spot where the ac3200 was).

I have had it for 3 years. As a Wi‑Fi signal, it is very good. Unfortunately, however, it has endless problems, mainly in router mode.
Many issues with browsing, where it cannot open all pages; repeated tests over and over again without results.
We even tried Merlin WRT (open-source firmware), but the problems changed or remained depending on the version.

Anyway, we ended up using it as an access point without any problem so it wouldn’t go to waste, but it was bought for another purpose: guest Facebook login, site filtering, which unfortunately, along with other problems, do not allow it to function as a router.

Disappointed, as I see other users on the forums are too
