  • Over 2 years of use, satisfied. Two or three times a day with a double or triple dose, 20 days a month due to work (travels in Europe). It paid for itself and then some. Coffee everywhere and at any time as long as you have hot water. Very good coffee with a rich crema.
However, the well-known water leakage problem was there from the start and became more intense lately. I noticed that the capsules of each brand have a slight difference in dimensions. With kimbo & jacobs the issue is almost eliminated with careful placement of the capsule, without rushing, and by cleaning the rubber seals, grey and orange.
I would probably buy it again.
Three stars because of the leakage... If I find a solution I will update.
P.S. The water leakage problem also exists in the new battery-powered one I bought for a friend, and it was solved by using kimbo coffee.

  • It does its job perfectly and makes very good coffee. For those who get stuck and can't unscrew it, open the compartment where you put the capsules first and then add the water. If you do it the other way around, it won't unscrew

Very good, you can make coffee in any country/place you go because the coffees outside are not as tasty

I have also sent a message to Wacaco. I am sure that the orange washer does not tighten sufficiently on the gray one during screwing. This results in the area containing the capsule (which leads to the coffee extraction hole) not being isolated. Unless, due to inadequate design, it does not puncture the capsule properly and a quantity of water passes around it, outside the capsule. I asked Wacaco for a thicker gray washer or to send me one so I can place a second one. In any case, no matter how good the coffee it makes (which it indeed does), it is not recommended. It is not normal to have such concerns just to drink coffee.

  • Update after some uses: while it makes very good coffee, it has an issue, I don't know if it's just mine. Sometimes it gets stuck and I can't unscrew it to change the capsule. I think that's a foul. I've tried brute force, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The last time I poured hot water on it, then cold water, eventually I left it in the freezer for a day and after it returned to room temperature it opened.

Excellent choice for a decent good coffee, with a good thick foam. It is compact, lightweight and very easy to handle. With a good rinse after use, it is ready for storage. Perfect for outdoor getaways and more!!!

It makes unexpectedly good coffee, the only downside is that after the second consecutive capsule it also dispenses plain water around the area where the coffee comes out. It improves quite a bit when you do the process with slow movements. Other than that, it's excellent to be able to drink nice coffee wherever you are! I use it on hikes in the mountains. I’m coming back after 1.5 years and with little use, unfortunately, it no longer dispenses coffee but only water around the area. It is not worth the 65 euros I paid for it at all.

From the portable coffee makers of wacaco, I believe it is the best. More compact and of higher quality construction than the first NS, with 18 bar pressure and with a larger water capacity, it makes a good double espresso with a rich crema that has nothing to envy from a good electric machine. The coffee comes out perfectly hot, the trick is to first add a plain dose of boiling water and immediately after the capsule with fresh boiling water to heat it up. Also, something that is not mentioned, the part that takes the hot water is double-walled and functions as a thermos so it doesn't burn you when you hold it. Once you make your coffee, it is good to rinse it with running water.

After a few uses with hot water, I noticed that besides the coffee dripping into the cup, plain water also drips from somewhere. Also, it is very difficult to unscrew for capsule replacement. But apart from the aforementioned negatives, it is an excellent solution to drink your espresso anywhere!!!! Recommended, despite the minor negatives.

It makes good coffee, it is small and very convenient.
If your first coffee seems lukewarm, you can add hot water to pull a shot without coffee so that the machine warms up and then make your coffee.

I have used it 2-3 times. It makes unexpectedly good coffee (although it's a small amount of espresso) with a rich foam. It is very small and convenient. You can fill it with boiling water, put the coffee capsule in, and take it ready with you on a walk. If you don't take too long to use it, the coffee is satisfactorily hot. Otherwise, with a small thermos, you can easily carry water for 2 coffees. Overall, it is good for traveling. I, who need an espresso in the morning at hotels where their coffee is usually bad, plan to take advantage of it on my trips as it requires minimal space in my backpack. I found it on sale for 55 euros, so I am satisfied with the investment.
