It features a ferrofluid cooled tweeter and twin FR series amplifiers (150watt LF/100watt HF).     I have had these specific studio monitors since 2010 (purchased from America), what can I say about these speakers...
    Normally, for a product of this price range, I would have to write a whole essay, but I will be brief. Mackie is a guarantee in the industry, especially when it comes to quality, incredible cabinet, amazing finish, and related features. These speakers require the appropriate space to perform well, the room acoustics settings they have will help you set them up even in a home studio (not recommended). They have incredible low frequencies since they do not have an air vent system, instead, they have a passive oval woofer on the backside (not visible) that releases the pressure from the cabinet, producing very clean lows and sub frequencies. They are all-around speakers and you will enjoy them even in a home theater, as with the default settings, they are not strictly flat. Generally, they are heavy speakers and not easily portable due to their size.
