I had it in my closet and we happened to play it yesterday. Don't worry about whether you're a fan of Tolkien or not. You don't play this one for the 100% transfer to the story. It was my first contact with EXIT games and I am completely satisfied. We had a very pleasant 2+ hours and some puzzles were much more difficult than they seemed. I definitely recommend you to try it!
