Berling Velatura Nature is a water-based acrylic primer for wooden surfaces. It penetrates the pores of the wood, stabilizes the surface and evens out its absorbency before the final coat of paint, helping to achieve a uniform finish. It has a low volatile organic compound (VOC) content and produces minimal odour indoors compared with solvent-based primers.
Use it before applying water-based enamel paint or varnish paint to doors, window frames, shutters, wooden furniture and other wooden structures. Before application, the surface should be clean, dry and sanded. Apply the primer with a roller or brush, and clean tools with water.
