2. I have not noticed even 1 disconnection in the past 3 months. Even after long power outages, everything comes back automatically.
3. The 2xAAA batteries it uses and are included need to be changed every 2 years (tested at the entrance of an apartment building).
Negatives:
1. From afar, the switch looks nice but up close you can see that the plastic cover of the switch is cheap.
2. To install it, either make sure the wall box has two holes left/right, or if it doesn't and is older, you need to buy a fitting (adapter) that wedges into the existing one and provides the 2 holes for its mounting screws (I found one at Meidanis store).
3. The switch travel, until it reaches the button, is long and takes some getting used to. Until you get used to it, you'll press it several times for it to work.

3. Η διαδρομή του διακόπτη, μέχρι να φτάσει το μπουτόν έχει μεγάλη διαδρομή και θέλει συνήθεια. Μέχρι να το συνηθίσεις, θα το πατήσεις αρκετές φορές για να δουλέψει.
Easy installation. Quick response and if combined with a presence sensor (& suitable hub) you can create a nice automation for energy saving.

Someone needs to buy the HUB in order for it to work as smart. At first, it didn't have the correct command in the Tapo app so you wouldn't know if the light was on or off; it showed what it wanted. After I did a restart of the HUB, since then it has been perfect and works flawlessly with Google Home so you can give voice commands to turn the light off or on. I installed 5 switches and for convenience, I named each one light 1, light 2, etc. You can give it commands even outside the house without being on the Wi-Fi network since you run the Tapo app on your mobile.
Χρειαζεται να αγοράσει κάποιος και το HUB προκειμενου να δουλεψει ως smart.
Στην αρχη δεν ειχε τη σωστη εντολη μεσα στο Tapo apk ωστε να ξερεις αν ειναι on ή off η λάμπα,εδειχνε οτι ηθελε.Αφου εκανα ενα restart το HUB εκτοτε ειναι τελειο και δουλευει αψογα με google home ωστε να του δινεις φωνητικες εντολες να σβήσει ή να ανάψει η λάμπα.Εβαλα 5 διακοπτες και για ευκολια ονομασα το καθε ενα light 1,light 2 κ.λ.π.
Μπορεις να του δωσεις εντολες και εκτος σπιτιου χωρις να εισαι στο wifi δυκτιο αφου τρεχεις το apk της TAPO στο κινητο σου.
Good construction, at a good price. Quite easy installation. For me, the star is lost because it doesn't have at least an indication that it is in on/off mode. It would be very convenient, while now I have to check the lights or the app if it is in operation.

I bought the S210 (single switch) for testing and PoC to see if it's worth it.
So, on the positive side:
- The switch seems to be of good quality construction (I will return in a few months with updates)
- It works with the Tapo app and can be part of an automation that you can set up with just one or more Tapo devices.
On the negative side:
- It requires batteries (2xAAA) to work. Without batteries, the light doesn't even turn on.
- It requires the Hub to connect it to the App.
- If you have the standard plastic boxes, it requires drilling and 2 outlets for the screws to fit.
Other observations:
- There is no way to see on-demand how much battery is left (you can't even do it from the app).
- There is no indication of operation on the switch itself (if it's on-off).
Αγόρασα τον S210 (μονό διακόπτη) για testing και PoC για να δω αν αξίζει τον κόπο.
Λοιπόν στα θετικά:
- Ο διακόπτης φαίνεται ποιοτικής κατασκευής (θα επιστρέψω σε μερικούς μήνες με updates)
- Συνεργάζεται με το Tapo app και γίνεται κομμάτι ενός automation που μπορείς να σεταρεις μόνο ή με περισσότερες tapo συσκευές.
Στα αρνητικά:
- Θέλει μπαταρίες (2xAAA) για να δουλέψει. Χωρίς μπαταρίες δεν ανοίγει καν το φως.
- Θέλει το Hub για να το συνδέσεις στο App
- Αν έχεις τα κλασικά πλαστικά κουτιά, θέλει τρύπημα και 2 ουπα για να πιάσουν οι βίδες.
Άλλες παρατηρήσεις:
- Δεν υπάρχει τρόπος να δεις on-demand πόση μπαταρία έχει μείνει (ούτε από το app μπορείς)
- Δεν υπάρχει ένδειξη λειτουργίας πάνω στο διακόπτη (αν είναι on-off).

Πολύ λειτουργική λύση, στο ios app εμφανίζει και την μπαταρία. Βεβαίως χρειάζεται το hub και 2 μπαταρίες και να κάνεις τρύπες μέσα στο ηλεκτρολογικό κουτί για να την εγκαταστήσεις, αλλά η εξυπηρέτηση που προσφέρει είναι μεγαλύτερη απο αυτά τα θέματα!! 5/5 λοιπόν
Someone needs to buy the HUB in order for it to work as smart. At first, it didn't have the correct command in the Tapo app so you wouldn't know if the light was on or off; it showed what it wanted. After I did a restart of the HUB, since then it has been perfect and works flawlessly with Google Home so you can give voice commands to turn the light off or on. I installed 5 switches and for convenience, I named each one light 1, light 2, etc. You can give it commands even outside the house without being on the Wi-Fi network since you run the Tapo app on your mobile.
Χρειαζεται να αγοράσει κάποιος και το HUB προκειμενου να δουλεψει ως smart.
Στην αρχη δεν ειχε τη σωστη εντολη μεσα στο Tapo apk ωστε να ξερεις αν ειναι on ή off η λάμπα,εδειχνε οτι ηθελε.Αφου εκανα ενα restart το HUB εκτοτε ειναι τελειο και δουλευει αψογα με google home ωστε να του δινεις φωνητικες εντολες να σβήσει ή να ανάψει η λάμπα.Εβαλα 5 διακοπτες και για ευκολια ονομασα το καθε ενα light 1,light 2 κ.λ.π.
Μπορεις να του δωσεις εντολες και εκτος σπιτιου χωρις να εισαι στο wifi δυκτιο αφου τρεχεις το apk της TAPO στο κινητο σου.
