I had high hopes, it has many useful features BUT overall I fell into a defective one or it has its issues.
1) The strap does not fully "embrace" the device like the older, thin bands. Specifically, it fastens on the device from two sides, one side did not fasten well, resulting in constantly opening with a little pressure from jacket sleeves and risking falling off. I solved the problem by putting a little instant glue on the problematic side, which of course is not the best solution, but I did not want to risk losing the device.
2) It kept losing connection with the phone after the first few months, without any obvious reason. A message appeared on the watch that it needed to be paired again with the phone and I had to press buttons on both devices, with uncertain results. So I might miss important notifications, which was the reason I chose this device. Eventually, I sent it back for service and since I started using it again a few days ago, it has started doing the same thing. I will probably return it for good and I do not know if I would try to buy the same product or even a newer one. Especially for the strap, they should consider a different closure, I think.

The purchase was made on 08/11/22. After almost 8 months, the watch stopped working.
This was their response after a technical check:
"The technical check of the product has been completed and it has been found that the damage ("oxidation in the device") you mentioned in your request was caused by possible incorrect use. For this reason, the device is not covered by warranty.
Attached to this communication, you will find the technical report, which refers to the actions that have been taken, and photos that the store has provided us with.
From our side, no further action can be taken and we will proceed with the return of the product to you."
My question was how water entered since it is waterproof?
The answer I received was as follows:
"The store states that the product is characterized as 'waterproof' under specific conditions and always under terms defined by the manufacturer. The manufacturing company states that the 5ATM water resistance rating means that you can wear the product in pools (freshwater), shallow waters, but it is not suitable for hot showers, saunas, diving, or even simple handwashing with hot water.
You should avoid water falling at high speed, as it significantly affects the device's waterproofness. Sudden changes in water temperatures or even the atmosphere of a bath due to steam, from hot to cold, create abrupt expansions and contractions in the watch's components. These abrupt changes distort the elastic seals and flanges internally, which is even worse with soaps and detergents.
Even pressing the buttons is considered prohibited, which should be avoided while the smartwatch is submerged. All of these factors can negatively affect the integrity of the components, which in turn could allow water to pass through the gaskets and leak into the watch, causing oxidation on the circuit board.
In the case of finding moisture/oxidation on the circuit board, it means that the device's waterproofing has been compromised, and therefore, the device is not covered by warranty according to the manufacturer's specifications."

The most positive thing is that it has built-in GPS and its strap is strong without coming undone at unexpected moments. Also, its large screen and the many options it provides... compared to previous models, it is much better, it has various functions that will definitely satisfy everyone except for NFC... Negative points: The most negative thing is that every time I wash my hands or go to the bathroom, it registers activity as if I am skipping rope, while I am sitting at work and not doing anything, it burns a lot of calories sometimes compared to when I am moving, and finally, the application is not updated or synchronized correctly, when I check my history, it tells me that I have fewer steps, fewer kilometers, fewer calories burned, and some days everything is at zero as if I didn't wear the watch (because it is connected to the application that is used with the mi band 4 and not the 5, 6, or 7 that have a better application called zepp life) and 3 stars because I use it a lot!!!! Update: after 4 months of full use, the amoled screen broke, probably due to water exposure, and it started showing lines, so 2 stars is a lot due to durability.

This is the first time I'm using a smart band/smart watch. I initially bought it to measure calories during soccer, basketball, and airsoft, as ideally I would like to see how many kilometers I ran in each activity. I also preferred it because it's visually more attractive than Xiaomi's basic bands.

Here comes the first major downside of the smart band: the built-in GPS only measures kilometers in running, cycling, and walking modes, not in other sports. For example, in soccer it only measures steps and calories, not distance unfortunately. If you try to replace the soccer function with the running function, then the calorie measurement has a big difference (I tried it twice).

The calorie measurement is generally satisfactory in the one month I've had it. On the other hand, the accuracy of the steps could be better as sometimes abrupt hand movements can be perceived as steps. However, this is something that will not happen in 90-95% of cases, and when it does, you will notice it.

In the other functions, the sleep tracking is accurate, with minimal deviation from actual times. The heart rate, stress, etc. measurement seems okay.

The second major downside is in the mi fitness application on the phone (I have an iPhone 11), which unfortunately does not automatically synchronize with the watch even when connected via Bluetooth. You have to manually synchronize the data every time you open the application. For example, if you synchronize it at noon and then forget to do it at night, the application will not record the remaining data. And when the day changes, everything is reset on the band and you essentially lose the measurements that you did not synchronize in the application.

The battery life surprised me pleasantly, as with the use I make it lasts between 6-7 days without charging, with an average of 2-3 sports activities (soccer-airsoft) per week. I usually have Bluetooth turned off and notifications from the phone completely disabled. If you also turn off the heart rate measurement, then its autonomy will definitely increase more.

For those interested in running, the running function with the built-in GPS will cost you about 20%-25% battery per hour, but you will have slightly better accuracy in measurement than if you use the phone's GPS with Bluetooth connection.

In summary, with a cost of around 90 euros, I can say that it looks beautiful, performs quite well, and covers almost all the needs for which I bought it. Good battery life, relatively good calorie/step tracking, etc. The only negatives are the manual synchronization (perhaps not an issue on Android?) and mainly the non-functioning of the built-in GPS (and therefore the non-recording of kilometers) in activities other than running.
