Vivechrom Strong Grip Primer is a water-based quartz primer suitable for smooth, low-absorbency surfaces such as exposed concrete, smooth painted surfaces, tiles, marble, terrazzo, metal and glass. It can also be applied to plasterboard, cement board and expanded polystyrene insulation boards. It creates a rough surface to ensure strong adhesion of subsequent coating materials, such as cement mortars and tile adhesives.
It is also used to prime VIVEFLEX 200W fibre-reinforced cement mortar and improves the coverage and appearance of VIVECRYL TOP ACRYLIC and VIVECRYL TOP SILICONE insulating renders. It is part of the THERMOPROTECT external thermal insulation system.
