I combined it with the silicone case for the controller, which has a ring and neck strap from the same company for hanging around the neck (https://www.skroutz.gr/s/58477298/Sunnylife-1384114-THiki-Prostasias-gia-DJI.html) and I can say that both are excellent.
The holder comfortably fits the Xiaomi Pad 7 (11.2") and secures it very firmly. It would probably also fit with a thin silicone case (though I'm not absolutely sure), as there is a small margin, even though it is specified for up to 11". However, a 12" tablet probably won't fit — I tried it with mine with the trifold case and stylus and it didn't fit.
Overall, I am very satisfied, as navigating with a tablet significantly upgrades the whole user experience.
Another positive is that you only need to tighten the Allen screw once and, if you use only a tablet, you don't need to adjust it again. The holder is foldable and "hugs" the controller, saving space.
Finally, the controller with the silicone case, the strap attached, and the tablet holder in the closed position, fits comfortably inside the original Fly More Combo bag, along with the Allen screwdriver included in the package.
