The slimmest floor-standing speaker Bowers & Wilkins has ever made, yet the 704 S3 still delivers thrilling performance. The woofer cone features an Aerofoil profile which enhances rigidity and ensures ample extension and gradation, while the speaker's midrange features the renowned Continuum cone, mass decoupling system for reduced resonances, and FST suspension.

A housing for high frequencies

The Carbon Dome tweeters (with a lightweight aluminum dome and carbon layer) are specially designed for the 700 Series.

With significantly improved performance, the double dome tweeter with dual dome has its first break-up at 47KHz, for exceptional behavior, linearity, and accuracy.

Truly stunning sound

Thanks to its composite construction, the Continuum cone avoids abrupt behavior changes that can affect the performance of a conventional driver. The result is a more open, natural performance that renders voices and instruments with precision and transparency.

Clear and Precise

Every three-way speaker in the new 700 Series features a dedicated midrange cone that uses four key Bowers & Wilkins technologies: the Continuum cone, FST suspension, the new "radial" suspension called Biomimetic Suspension, and the midrange with the mass decoupling system for reduced resonances.

A triumph of science

Developed using advanced computer modeling techniques, the Aerofoil profile bass cone features variable thickness which improves rigidity where stresses are highest. The result: deep and dynamic bass.
