The main reason I bought this particular machine was for chopping salad. I did not choose a simple salad chopper because our kitchen counters are limited in length and I wanted to replace many appliances (mixer, juicer, etc.) with one multi-machine to save space.
Unfortunately, for the main function I intended it for — chopping salad — I was not satisfied. It does not offer a sufficient variety of cutting knives/discs, which limits the options. In addition, there is a gap in the mechanism, resulting in large pieces of vegetables passing uncut into the bowl.
Overall, as a multi-machine it may cover other needs, but for anyone considering it mainly for chopping salad, I believe it does not meet expectations.
