There are 2 mainline Fire Emblem games on the Switch. There’s the earlier Three Houses, which seems to be sold out as a physical cartridge and can now only be bought on the eShop, and there’s also Engage, which fortunately is still in stock and available at good prices here on Skroutz. The two have very different philosophies. While Three Houses focused heavily on the story and plot, the characters and factions, and the differences between them, Engage focuses on the tactical battle system, which is noticeably improved, but has a story that’s a complete joke, like a badly written anime for 8-year-olds. So if you mainly buy games for the story, there’s nothing to see here unless you’re into anime cringe. On the other hand, if you like tactical gameplay, here we have a little gem that you can still find at a good price as a physical cartridge. Just skip all the dialogue and treat it like a game of chess. Personally, I recommend it to anyone who likes tactics and strategy, because let’s be honest, even on PC in recent years, we haven’t had the best options, and even Civilization VII flopped. For gaming sessions on my Switch Lite, personally, I enjoy it.

I have 130 hours of gameplay without even entering the DLC story yet. I started the game on easy to get to know the characters and casually follow the story. Then I started again on hard/classic. There is a lot of strategizing and overall character leveling, as well as deciding where to place each emblem. I loved the game incredibly and highly recommend it. Try it on maddening/classic mode for hardcore players

Πολύ σπαζοκεφαλιά στη στρατηγική και γενικά στο leveling των χαρακτήρων, όπως και που να δώσεις το κάθε emblem. Μου άρεσε απίστευτα το παιχνίδι και το προτείνω ανεπιφύλαχτα.
