I have used the whole range. The initial versions had a longer stem and you could remove them relatively easily. The latest ones have a grip that protrudes from the stem, but it breaks off and their removal is difficult. Unfortunately, I buy a pair every 3-4 months (with frequent use) and it is not cost-effective. I would recommend for short trips (up to 2 hours) the use of TPU earplugs, e.g. 3M, Alpine plug & go, etc., and for long trips the Alpine Motosafe, which do not hurt with prolonged use. The TPU ones have a higher SNR (35db) and isolate better, but if you want to stay in touch with your environment, the Motosafe are clearly better.

They mainly cut out the noise created by the wind in the helmet. One realizes their functionality when traveling for hours at speeds of 100+. The engine of the motorcycle can be heard and is combined with an intercom system. I noticed that I hear the intercom more clearly using the earplugs when going at 100+.
