    Small but very fast adapter.
PS: You will need to download its driver and set it to connect only to the 5 GHz band, because if your wifi broadcasts on both 2.4 & 5 GHz bands simultaneously, it will always connect to 2.4, resulting in a slow network.

  • some disconnections if the laptop wakes up from sleep. sometimes it doesn't recognize it on startup and you have to disconnect and reconnect it. I used a special program to uninstall the software and reinstalled it but I didn't see any change. nevertheless, it is worth buying

On a 300 Mbps line with the pre-installed (Windows 10) drivers, it reached 250 Mbps. When I installed the drivers from the company's website, the speed 'soared' to the maximum possible for the line (300 Mbps)

In a room 8m away from the router (100 Mbps connection) with 3 walls in between, it gets 80-90 on 5GHz. An old one from another brand that I had on 2.4 would get at most 30 and had disconnections. I didn't need to install drivers on Win10

I got it for occasional use and I've had it for a few hours, so I'll share what I've seen.
It uses the Realtek RTL8812BU which has drivers from Windows XP to the latest Windows 11. It automatically downloaded drivers and worked without any issues on Windows 10. The package includes a manual and a CD for the drivers, but if you want them from the internet, you can go here https://www.cudy.com/pages/download-center/wu1400-1-0
There are also newer drivers as I found Google Realtek 8812BU Wireless LAN 1030.44.0822.2023
I believe for the money it's good, the construction seems solid with holes on the back because it heats up, with a nice large detachable 5dBi antenna so someone can also put one with higher gain. Be careful, it needs USB3 to work properly and to achieve the speeds listed; on USB2 it will work but with reduced speeds.

It's fine... It gives at least 300 wireless on a computer that I tested in the same space with usb3 & 5ghz band... Of course, the pc is a bit old.... So on a newer one it might go even higher.... Based on features and statistics, it shows that it can....
