WeMos D1 mini Pro ESP8266

The WeMos D1 mini PRO is a miniature wireless microcontroller development board with 802.11 (Wifi). It transforms the popular ESP8266 wireless microcontroller module into a full development board. Programming the D1 mini Pro is simple, like with any other Arduino-based microcontroller, as the module includes a built-in microUSB port that allows for programming directly from the Arduino IDE (requires the addition of ESP8266 support via the board manager) without the need for additional hardware.

The D1 mini Pro is designed to allow connection of compatible WeMos shields, in a similar manner used on the Arduino development platform, substantially extending its capabilities. There is already a wide range of compatible shields available.

A header set is included (requires soldering) that facilitates the easy addition or removal of shields from the D1 mini PRO. Other features of the WeMos D1 Mini Pro include 11 digital inputs/outputs, 1 analog input (3.2V Max), 4MB (32M bit) Flash, external antenna port, built-in ceramic antenna, and it includes the new IC CP2104 US to UART.

The WeMos D1 Pro is the same size as the D1 mini, but lighter.
