  • Speed etc. all good. One strange thing though, hence 4 stars: I connected it to a USB-2 port (and to be honest, to a USB hub). Strangely, the router kept rebooting frequently!!! This is not explained. When I plugged it into the USB3 port directly without the hub, this did not happen again. So keep that in mind. Otherwise, flawless. On Linux Mint, no recognition issues.

In an Asus laptop with Windows 11, it constantly causes system restarts. I have tried the drivers from the official site and the problem was not fixed. It is certain that the crashes and restarts are caused by the adapter as I have tried it countless times and hours with and without it. It has never restarted when it is functioning with WiFi. And sometimes it crashes as soon as you connect it.
Update 02.11.2023: After many months of use and after permanently connecting it to a USB3 port, following support's suggestion, it works smoothly and with good speeds. However, it permanently occupies the laptop's only USB3 slot. But I am upgrading the rating from 1 to 4 stars.
