Unfortunately, this is the first tool from Bormann that disappointed me. The heat is moderate and, most importantly, it drains a fully charged 4ah battery in ten minutes of use. I bought it to use for paint removal, but practically, this is very difficult.... For reference, with the same battery in the impact driver, drill, and saw from the company, I can easily get a day's work done.... I hope I'm missing something because so far I am very satisfied with Bormann.
22/05/2023: It is practically impossible to remove paint and varnish from a door. I hope to find another use for it because it is a waste of money.
19/12/23: This heat gun is not suitable for heavy-duty tasks like paint removal from doors, for example, but it is suitable for delicate tasks like heating the back of a mobile phone to soften its adhesives and easily open it to change the battery, for example... It is suitable for such tasks. In my opinion, it should also be suitable for tougher jobs since it comes with corresponding attachments and the accompanying documentation states that it can be used for a wide range of tasks. Unfortunately, one star and it is better to avoid it if you are looking for a general-purpose heat gun.
