The plastic around the door at the bottom is frayed and the metal has already rusted in those spots after just 2 washes. (Don't tell me it's not meant to be washed. I sterilize stray cats, it can't go unwashed.)
The reason for the fraying is due to poor dimension calculations, as when you try to slide the door into the cage, it gets stuck on the right and left, making the closing uneven.

Ο λόγος που εχει δημιουργηθεί το ξέφτυσμα ειναι λογω των κακών υπολογισμών στςι διαστασεις καθως οταν προσπαθεις να συρεις το πορτάκι στο κλουβί, σκαλώνει δεξιά κι αριστερά κάνοντας μη ομαλό το κλείσιμο.

I was a bit concerned with some of the reviews, however, I am very happy that I finally bought this trap, because I managed to catch a stray cat that needed immediate veterinary care (the white one in the photo). It is very difficult to find such traps in Greece and from England, where there is a site that ships here, they have double the price.
The orange cat is mine and I did some tests before catching the stray cat. There may have been some improvement in the product because I didn't find the internal corners to be that sharp. However, to be sure, I placed a foam pad and secured it with tie wraps. I also added tie wraps to the sliding bottom for extra security.
Since it is a bit difficult to transfer the cat from the trap to a cage due to the door that does not slide upwards but opens outwards, I used the cardboard lid of the trap's packaging along with a diaper as shown in the photo, to transport the cat as it is to the vet.
For those who neuter and care for strays, it is a very useful tool.

Για όσους στειρώνουν και περιθάλπουν αδέσποτα, είναι ένα πολύ χρήσιμο βοήθημα.

It's worth its money, considering that professional droppers cost 200 euros and above. Thanks to this, I have caught two cats so far for neutering. It is very easy to use, lightweight, and incredibly helpful. However, the bottom of the cage can easily slip as it attaches with a spring. So, after placing the bottom, tie the other end of the bottom with a tie wrap or some wire so that the bottom does not slip and the cat does not escape. GREAT ATTENTION TO TIE THE BOTTOM WELL AND FROM BOTH SIDES WITH SOME ADDITIONAL WIRE, as with all droppers of course. All droppers from all companies require attention to prevent the bottom from coming off while carrying the cat.

The trap has many problems as mentioned in the other reviews. Very true, as you can see in the photo, it has very sharp edges on the corners. It's like razors. Whoever designed it probably wanted to harm the animals. Another problem is that it easily opens from the bottom.
However, both of these can be easily solved. I bought some "armaflex" for air-conditioners for around 3-4€, which is a very soft material like foam, and I attached it with zip ties on the corners. This way, the cats are protected. Additionally, I use 4 thick wires from a hardware store to secure the bottom drawer of the trap, so it doesn't open.
I give it a 5 out of 5 because with these two modifications, the trap works perfectly. It functions flawlessly, the cats are easily caught, especially if you put food underneath while they're eating, you go from behind and close it! It is sturdy, and currently, there aren't many alternatives. We must consider the purpose it serves, to catch cats that need medical care or sterilization. It does a very important job, and for that, it deserves it

Πόλυ σωστα , όπως βλέπετε στη φωτο , εχει αυτες τις πολυ κοφτερες ακρες στις γωνιες. ειναι σαν ξυραφια. Οποιος την έφταιξε μαλλον ηθελε να τραυματίσει τα ζωακια.
Αλλο προβλημα ειναι οτι ανοιγει απο κατω ευκολα.
καί τα δυο αυτα ομως λύνονται ευκολα, εγω αγορασα με 3-4€ "αρμαφλεξ" για τα air-condition, που ειναι πολυ μαλακο υλικο σαν αφρολεξ, και τον έπιασα με δεματικα στις γωνιες . Ετσι οι γατες προστατεύονται.
Παράλληλα χρησιμοποιω 4 συρματακια χοντρα απο καλοδειο για ρευμα για να πιασω το "συρταρι" που κλεινει την παγίδα απο κατω, με αυτο τον τροπο δεν ανοίγει η παγιδα.
βαζω 5 στα 5 διοτι , η παγίδα με αυτες τις 2 πατεντες γίνεται τελεια. Δουλεύει αψογα, οι γατες πιάνονται ευκολα, εαν τους βάλετε φαγητο κατω ενω τρωνε, πατε απο πισω και τις καπακονετε!! Ειναι στιβαρη, και αυτη τη στιγμή δεν υπάρχουν και πολλες εναλλακτικες.
Πρέπει να σκεφτούμε τον σκοπό που εξυπηρετεί, να πιασει γατες, που θελουν ιατρική φροντίδα ή στείρωση. Κανει πολυ σημαντικό εργο, και για αυτο αξιζει

It does the job! It requires attention during transportation as the bottom part slips and can open. It would be good to secure it from both sides. But it is very effective for cats that approach 1-2 meters.

Ωστόσο ο πάτος του κλουβιου μπορεί πολύ εύκολα να γλιστρήσει καθώς κουμπώνει με ένα ελατήριο. Οπότε αφού βάλετε τον πάτο, δέστε με ένα tie wrap ή κάποιο σύρμα την άλλη άκρη του πατου ώστε να μην γλιστρήσει ο πάτος και φύγει η γάτα. The trap has many problems as mentioned in the other reviews. Very true, as you can see in the photo, it has very sharp edges on the corners. It's like razors. Whoever designed it probably wanted to harm the animals. Another problem is that it easily opens from the bottom.
However, both of these can be easily solved. I bought some "armaflex" for air-conditioners for around 3-4€, which is a very soft material like foam, and I attached it with zip ties on the corners. This way, the cats are protected. Additionally, I use 4 thick wires from a hardware store to secure the bottom drawer of the trap, so it doesn't open.
I give it a 5 out of 5 because with these two modifications, the trap works perfectly. It functions flawlessly, the cats are easily caught, especially if you put food underneath while they're eating, you go from behind and close it! It is sturdy, and currently, there aren't many alternatives. We must consider the purpose it serves, to catch cats that need medical care or sterilization. It does a very important job, and for that, it deserves it
Η παγίδα εχει πολλα προβληματα οπως αναφέρονται και στις υπόλοιπες κριτικές.
Πόλυ σωστα , όπως βλέπετε στη φωτο , εχει αυτες τις πολυ κοφτερες ακρες στις γωνιες. ειναι σαν ξυραφια. Οποιος την έφταιξε μαλλον ηθελε να τραυματίσει τα ζωακια.
Αλλο προβλημα ειναι οτι ανοιγει απο κατω ευκολα.
καί τα δυο αυτα ομως λύνονται ευκολα, εγω αγορασα με 3-4€ "αρμαφλεξ" για τα air-condition, που ειναι πολυ μαλακο υλικο σαν αφρολεξ, και τον έπιασα με δεματικα στις γωνιες . Ετσι οι γατες προστατεύονται.
Παράλληλα χρησιμοποιω 4 συρματακια χοντρα απο καλοδειο για ρευμα για να πιασω το "συρταρι" που κλεινει την παγίδα απο κατω, με αυτο τον τροπο δεν ανοίγει η παγιδα.
βαζω 5 στα 5 διοτι , η παγίδα με αυτες τις 2 πατεντες γίνεται τελεια. Δουλεύει αψογα, οι γατες πιάνονται ευκολα, εαν τους βάλετε φαγητο κατω ενω τρωνε, πατε απο πισω και τις καπακονετε!! Ειναι στιβαρη, και αυτη τη στιγμή δεν υπάρχουν και πολλες εναλλακτικες.
Πρέπει να σκεφτούμε τον σκοπό που εξυπηρετεί, να πιασει γατες, που θελουν ιατρική φροντίδα ή στείρωση. Κανει πολυ σημαντικό εργο, και για αυτο αξιζει

It does the job! It requires attention during transportation as the bottom part slips and can open. It would be good to secure it from both sides. But it is very effective for cats that approach 1-2 meters.

I received it compressed on one side, obviously from transport.
The plastic around the door at the bottom is frayed and the metal has already rusted in those spots after just 2 washes. (Don't tell me it's not meant to be washed. I sterilize stray cats, it can't go unwashed.)

Ο λόγος που εχει δημιουργηθεί το ξέφτυσμα ειναι λογω των κακών υπολογισμών στςι διαστασεις καθως οταν προσπαθεις να συρεις το πορτάκι στο κλουβί, σκαλώνει δεξιά κι αριστερά κάνοντας μη ομαλό το κλείσιμο.
No tire up is needed because it has built-in hooks that latch on. The sliding base is a bit difficult to insert but it doesn't slide. There are no wires sticking out that could injure the pet.

I was a bit concerned with some of the reviews, however, I am very happy that I finally bought this trap, because I managed to catch a stray cat that needed immediate veterinary care (the white one in the photo). It is very difficult to find such traps in Greece and from England, where there is a site that ships here, they have double the price.
The orange cat is mine and I did some tests before catching the stray cat. There may have been some improvement in the product because I didn't find the internal corners to be that sharp. However, to be sure, I placed a foam pad and secured it with tie wraps. I also added tie wraps to the sliding bottom for extra security.
Since it is a bit difficult to transfer the cat from the trap to a cage due to the door that does not slide upwards but opens outwards, I used the cardboard lid of the trap's packaging along with a diaper as shown in the photo, to transport the cat as it is to the vet.
For those who neuter and care for strays, it is a very useful tool.
Είχα προβληματιστεί λίγο με κάποιες από τις κριτικές, ωστόσο χαίρομαι πολύ που τελικά αγόρασα τη συγκεκριμένη παγίδα, γιατί κατάφερα και έπιασα έναν αδέσποτο γάτο που έχρηζε άμεσης κτηνιατρικής
φροντίδας (ο άσπρος που φαίνεται στην φωτογραφία). Είναι πολύ δύσκολο να βρεις τέτοιες παγίδες στην Ελλάδα και από Αγγλία που υπάρχει ένα site που στέλνει εδώ, έχουν τη διπλάσια τιμή.
Ο πορτοκαλί γάτος είναι δικός μου και έκανα μερικές δοκιμασίες πριν πιάσω τον αδέσποτο γάτο. Ίσως έχει υπάρξει κάποια βελτίωση στο προϊόν γιατί δε βρήκα τόσο αιχμηρές τις εσωτερικές γωνίες. Ωστόσο για να είμαι σίγουρη έβαλα ένα αφρολέξ και το έδεσα με tie wraps. Έβαλα και tie wraps στον συρταρωτό πάτο για σιγουριά.
Επειδή είναι λίγο δύσκολο να μεταφέρεις το γατί από την παγίδα σε κλουβί λόγω της πόρτας που δεν είναι συρόμενη προς τα πάνω αλλά ανοίγει προς τα έξω, χρησιμοποίησα το χάρτινο καπάκι της συσκευασίας της παγίδας μαζί με μία πάνα όπως φαίνεται στην φωτογραφία, για να μεταφέρω τον γάτο όπως είναι στο κτηνίατρο.
Για όσους στειρώνουν και περιθάλπουν αδέσποτα, είναι ένα πολύ χρήσιμο βοήθημα.
