A gem from Givenchy! Although it hasn't been advertised and promoted as much, at least compared to Privee, I believe that Boise is a very balanced fragrance with iris as the star, which captivates you. The iris, however, is much fresher and airier compared to other fragrances (e.g., Dior Homme Intense), not at all suffocating. It's as if they have tried to create an iris fragrance as airy as possible. It stands very well as an everyday fragrance, as it doesn't overwhelm the senses, while it could easily be worn from morning to night. Personally, I would wear it all year round, but it fits better in winter - autumn, as for the other seasons something fresher, sea-like, and citrusy would suit better. It has nothing to do with the boozy element that emerges in Privee from the same line. It's a safe, blind buy for anyone interested, as it's hard not to like it. In terms of longevity, it's a decent fragrance, but definitely not something exceptional.
