The write speed (we're talking about large files, over 200MB each) starts at a good 100-110MB/sec and within a few seconds plummets to 25-30MB/sec where it remains until the end of the write (if it doesn't drop lower).
I tried with exFAT and NTFS formatting, nothing changed. Obviously, it has a small temporary fast-write cache. So, the USB 3.2 protocol is COMPLETELY CANCELLED. You will have a vast but slow stick.
At least in reading, the performance is good, with an average transfer rate consistently over 100MB/sec (often 140).
Final verdict: it remains a large-capacity stick at a good price. It's too early to talk about reliability yet.

It's not as fast as you would expect from USB 3.2, but I suppose it's gen1, meaning 5Gbps, not 10 which is gen2. Other than that, all the Kingston products I have are great; they haven't broken even in the washing machine they've been in. You'll need a little string to tie it because if it goes into the USB, it gets stuck quite a bit and you can't grab it easily.

Discreet, it protrudes very little in any port you put it in and that makes it doubly durable (it's also metal, let's not forget). I'm speaking as someone who has owned the same one for several years but with less capacity - it's simply the only USB stick that hasn't broken. The fact that it gets warm, as some of you mention, is actually good because the metal body acts as a heatsink for the chip inside. The 128GB version in a USB 3 port flies. If I need one again (for my wife, kids), I won't look elsewhere.

Το ότι ζεσταίνεται που λέτε μερικοί είναι καλό γιατί το μεταλλικό σώμα λειτουργεί σαν ψύκτρα στο τσιπάκι μέσα. Το 128άρι σε USB 3 θύρα πετάει. Αν ξαναχρειαστώ (για γυναίκα, παιδιά) δεν θα ψάξω αλλού.
