METAL-X is a high durability and hardness glossy alkyd paint for interior and exterior metal surfaces. It provides a high gloss surface with an anti-corrosive finish, does not yellow over time, dries quickly, and withstands impacts and wear. Its colors remain unchanged in adverse weather conditions and washing. It is suitable for metal surfaces such as doors, railings, iron structures, machinery, vehicles, industrial equipment, tools, and any metal construction. It is easy to work with, spreads very well, and offers protection and beauty.

Preparation:

• A careful preparation is a basic requirement for good results. After removing all old paints, loose materials, and oils, sand and remove dust with a cloth.
• Painted metal surfaces:
• Initially, sand with the appropriate sandpaper to obtain a dull finish. Apply 2 coats of METAL-X.
• New metal surfaces:
• Prime with ANTIRUST or MARINE MINIO for better anti-corrosive protection. Sand before the final finish. Apply 1-2 coats of METAL-X.

Usage:

• Apply with a roller, brush, or airless spray. Dilute with 5-10% WHITE SPIRIT / THINNER 135.
• Minimum application temperature 5°C.
• Drying - Coverage:
• The ambient temperature and the thickness of the coating determine the drying time. Surface drying: 1-2 hours. Recoating time: 4-6 hours. Coverage: 11-15m²/lt, depending on the thickness of each coat and the absorbency of the surface.
