Description

Packaging of 10ml, containing 100% edible Patchouli Essential Oil. Patchouli, scientifically known as Pogostemon cablin, is a bushy plant of the Lamiaceae family and is native to the tropical regions of Asia. It has numerous health benefits and is used in Japan and Malaysia as an antidote for bites from poisonous snakes. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is recommended for the treatment of headaches, colds, nausea, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.

The essential oil of Patchouli is extracted through steam distillation of the dried leaves of the plant. It has a dark orange color and a sweet, spicy, and exotic aroma. It is recommended as a venotonic for edema, varicose veins, and heavy legs. Additionally, it helps reduce sweating and hot flashes during menopause.

It is valuable for troubled skin, as it softens and soothes hard, dry, and cracked skin. Its strong antioxidant properties aid in the regeneration of skin cells and combat wrinkles. Its antiseptic and antifungal action protects the skin from inflammatory and allergic skin conditions.

It is also considered healing for wounds, scars, and cuts. On a psychological level, it relieves stress, anxiety, and depression. It is useful in nervous exhaustion and restoring emotional balance. Suitable for insect bites as well.

Tip: For dry heels and elbows: Add 10 drops of patchouli essential oil to 20ml of calendula oil and apply to the areas that need care.

Patchouli essential oil is used in cosmetics as an ingredient and stabilizer in men's fragrances, as well as in the scenting of soaps.
