De Buris was created because Valpolicella Classico has developed such quality characteristics that it goes beyond the world of wine. The Tommasi House commissioned 4 young talented creators in the field of illustration to capture Time, Place, and Heritage through the classic expression of illustration.
These are Giacomo Bagnara, Andrea Mongia, Antonio Sortino, and Alice Piaggio. De Buris is a magical place and a villa full of history and art, whose roots date back to Roman times. Villa de Buris encompasses 2000 years of history from the Valpolicella region.
The Vintage 2009 displays an ideal balance, where the generous power of the tannins and the flesh of the grapes are counterbalanced and enhanced by the aromas and freshness of the wine. The result is a multifaceted, deep, harmonious wine that is easy to enjoy.
A wine with incredible complexity and evolution that results in constantly changing. Only 6795 bottles and 248 magnums of the 2009 vintage were bottled by the Tommasi House, whose name is synonymous with the history of Amarone and Valpolicella.
