At first, it caused quite a bit of redness and I broke out. With less frequent use and a smaller amount during the week, my skin returned to normal.

I saw a difference in bacterial acne within a few days but it took about a month for the breakout to go away. Around that time the product ran out as well (it's very small). However, the acne came back soon after, so I don't know if you have to use it continuously forever or if it just needed more time (and thus another purchase). It didn't cause irritation on my skin (but it did make it a bit drier in the areas where I applied it), but in the first few days I felt a mild stinging sensation.

Almost odorless, it leaves a mild dryness on the skin so it is recommended to be used together with a serum (sometimes I use a moisturizer). I have seen mild improvement in brown spots within a month.

I use azelaic acid as a key step in my daily routine and, although I find it effective for improving skin texture, there is one major drawback: when applied to damp or wet skin, it emits a strong and unpleasant fishy smell. To avoid this odor, I have adjusted my routine to let the previous product dry completely before applying it. Additionally, I wait for the azelaic acid to be absorbed and dried well before moving on to the next step. This way, the usage experience becomes much more pleasant and I do not notice any discomfort in terms of smell.
