Expansion tanks are used to maintain the pressure of the central supply network within acceptable limits. Maintaining the pressure is necessary for:
- compensating for water losses in the system caused by bleedings in radiators or micro-leaks.
- collecting excess water generated due to water expansion when the temperature increases.
They are manufactured and tested in accordance with the current European Regulation. They are used in water supply circuits. They feature a replaceable EPDM membrane, which prevents contact between water and metal walls and keeps the circuit fluid clean.
The connection opening has a diameter of 3/4”. Their maximum operating pressure is 10 bar. Their operating temperature is -10 to +100oC.
