I am 33, I have slightly oily skin, prone to comedonal acne, while I am also undergoing treatment with strong retinoids.
I admit that it has really worked well on the comedones, as it does not produce any oil throughout the day, so it does not "feed" the sebum, resulting in the skin remaining clean, radiant, and smooth, without the orange peel appearance that comedones create when they "flare up."
However, the cream did not perform well on my skin in terms of hydration. Its texture is incredibly runny, with very little moisturizing effect for the needs of a skin like mine (oily, prone to comedones, and under treatment). I do not feel that it hydrates. On the contrary, throughout the day I feel my skin pulling, feeling like paper, lacking any elasticity, and in fact, when I wake up in the morning, my skin is dry and, again, like paper.
I mention this review so that anyone with skin needs like mine knows not to bother with the cream. It is for much less demanding skin in terms of hydration.

I have been using this cream for about 2 years as a moisturizing support in my treatment with isotretinoin/clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide. It is INCREDIBLY soothing, you can feel your skin calming down from the burning sensation of the topical treatments from the very first uses. It is a good base for makeup, I use it morning and night (in the morning before sunscreen, at night after the topical treatment or even on its own). Of course, it helps as long as the other steps of skin protection are followed (sunscreen and avoiding sun exposure).

I admit that it has really worked well on the comedones, as it does not produce any oil throughout the day, so it does not "feed" the sebum, resulting in the skin remaining clean, radiant, and smooth, without the orange peel appearance that comedones create when they "flare up."
However, the cream did not perform well on my skin in terms of hydration. Its texture is incredibly runny, with very little moisturizing effect for the needs of a skin like mine (oily, prone to comedones, and under treatment). I do not feel that it hydrates. On the contrary, throughout the day I feel my skin pulling, feeling like paper, lacking any elasticity, and in fact, when I wake up in the morning, my skin is dry and, again, like paper.
I mention this review so that anyone with skin needs like mine knows not to bother with the cream. It is for much less demanding skin in terms of hydration.

I have been using this cream for about 2 years as a moisturizing support in my treatment with isotretinoin/clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide.
