Spring raises its floral flag in Old Thomas's garden and everything blooms. However, a thistle that unexpectedly sprouts at the roots of a little rose causes the wrath not only of its mother but also of many plants that find such a 'cohabitation' unnatural.

With the garden divided into two camps and the opponents questioning whether different origins can hinder friendship, the humble thistle, with its attitude, provides the answer to this question on the morning of May Day.
