Eye Tracking

Interact in new and realistic ways, as the set tracks your eye movements, allowing for increased emotional response and improved expression when meeting teammates.

Eye-tracking cameras follow your gaze as you aim or look around, while advanced graphics design techniques based on visibility enhance the visual experience by adjusting resolutions to highlight and improve your areas of focus.

Play freely, as the PlayStation VR2 tracks you and your controllers through four cameras built into the headset. Your movements, as well as the direction of your gaze, are reflected in the game without the need for an external camera.

Feedback

Feel mild, quick-response vibrations at critical moments during gameplay. Originating from a built-in motor, these vibrations add a smart tactile element to the sensory immersion you experience while playing.

Tempest 3D Audio Technology

Experience incredibly realistic audio environments, as in-game sound dynamically adjusts to your position and head movements.

Feel the presence of a character when they whisper in your ear, locate friends and enemies by the sound of their gunfire or footsteps, and experience the terror of a threat approaching from any direction.

Gain additional control over your in-game actions and equipment with analog sticks and buttons, distributed across two controllers, along with an Options button and a Create button. Beyond the dynamic response triggers, the two controllers also include a grip button to grab in-game objects.

Interact naturally with in-game objects and environments, even when not actively pressing a button, as the finger touch detection allows the PS VR2 Sense controller to replicate natural movements and gestures, enabling you to reach out and touch the virtual world.

Feel realistic, detailed responses to your in-game movements. From mild, precise vibrations to intense pulses, a wide range of sensations from the game world can be conveyed to your hands.

Experience what it feels like to shoot or strike with different weapons, craft tools, touch various textures in the environment, and travel over uneven terrain.

Experience different levels of feedback and resistance as you interact with in-game equipment and environments. From pulling an increasingly tight bowstring to crushing objects with your hands or feeling a weapon jam during combat, the dynamic response triggers physically connect you to your on-screen actions for a more intense sense of immersion.

The Sony PlayStation VR2 represents a leap in virtual reality technology, but to complete the user experience, specific accessories are required. Of primary importance is acquiring the appropriate Video Games, as without the corresponding software, the capabilities of the headset remain unexploited. Equally important is the purchase of a Controller Charging Station, which solves the practical issue of charging both Sense controllers simultaneously, keeping your space organized. To protect your investment, especially the sensitive lenses from dust and drops, one of the VR Headset Cases is a particularly useful addition. Finally, for those seeking ultimate immersion, upgrading your audio with specialized Gaming Headsets that support 3D Audio, combined with simple Cleaning Cloths for lens maintenance, will ensure the best possible audiovisual performance.

It is very nice, I understand the hype, the experience is incredible, especially with Resident Evil, it was extreme, as if you are actually there. However, even though I am one of those people who never get dizzy, I can't wear it for more than half an hour without a break, it makes you very dizzy. Generally, I choose to play sitting down and I still get dizzy and feel nauseous. I hope you get used to it gradually. Nevertheless, it is very nice and even though I wear prescription glasses, it doesn't bother me at all. Also, I have to say that it's silly for it to cost almost as much as the console and have so few games, and half of them aren't even included in the PS Plus subscription. I also tried it with Netflix and YouTube and it's like being in a cinema. Lastly, I have to say that it is very lightweight and doesn't tire your head, I expected it to be heavier.

Unfortunately, I was not properly informed that if you have myopia you do not have a clear image! Unfortunately, only when I wear glasses can I see clearly, which does not make it ideal and comfortable for this category of people!

I give it 3/5 just because when I got it, it was 600€ and for a "console" at 600€ to have not even 15 games that work well for VR, and those that have come out are few, simply no.. There are very few games that have been made so well for VR and that's its only downside.. It has an OLED 120hz 2K screen and there are games that you see inside and say they look like 720p at most.. However, the positives are that it is quite light.. one cable so it doesn't get tangled.. the remotes feel like you're holding nothing in your hands.. games like Phasmophobia, Gran Turismo, RE Village have amazing graphics as if you're there.. without too much, however.. it's worth buying if it will be at least 400€ like when it was on Black Friday.. not so much at 600€ and I say again only because of the games.. yes it will make you dizzy, you will play for 15 minutes and get tired.. but it's all at the beginning, then you get used to it and you don't realize how time flies..

Incredible! It truly transports you to another reality! It just needs a little patience for more titles beyond games to be added.

I am amazed by some who say they feel dizzy after an hour of gaming when the manufacturer itself advises that breaks should be taken much earlier... The reality, unfortunately, is much worse... Personally, I didn't manage to finish even one track in Gran Turismo without having to take it off my head in a hurry with incredible discomfort, a tendency to vomit, and cold sweat...

Purchase at €398 and at such a price DON'T even think about it! In fact, I see that there are still stores selling it at a similar price (10-12-2024).

Just try Gran Turismo 7 in VR and your jaw will drop to the floor, as well as Horizon Call Of The Mountain!

But it also has many other worthwhile games plus the fact that you can play any other non-VR game, and even watch movies, on a screen that looks at least 200"!

    I didn't regret it for a moment!

On the downside, in some games there is the so-called motion sickness (nausea), but not everyone experiences it, nor to the same degree, nor is it present in all games.

P.S. There are videos on YouTube that describe how to adjust it (for example, reducing its brightness to the minimum), so that the dizziness caused by nausea (motion sickness) is noticeably reduced. As soon as I adjusted it this way, I immediately noticed a significant difference and the game is absolutely playable!

The new VR is lightweight, easy to connect and set up... These are its advantages... Let's move on to the downsides... It doesn't have games... The image and resolution aren't anything special... Okay, it's clear, but it's not shocking... Less quality than expected... The worst part, however, is something else... Unfortunately, it's very likely that someone can't play for more than ten minutes because it makes you dizzy and nauseous... Also, because I read something about an 88-inch screen, I laugh... If you set it to 88 inches and go to watch or play anything, get ready for the hospital... Unfortunately, the VR process is very unhealthy... At least for now... Yes, it's impressive, yes, you're in the game, but at the first turn in Gran Turismo, you want to rip your guts out... I don't see anything positive in this... Therefore, I don't think it's worth it for anyone to spend so much money to own something they will use for ten minutes... Good to see, but that's it... A lot for €479..

I bought it yesterday with great joy and was disappointed because I own the first PSVR and I must say that it is more difficult and more uncomfortable to set up - although it has only one cable compared to the previous one for supposed convenience. I have the PS5 pro and my games should be stunningly clear, yet the quality I saw is worse than PSVR1, I don't know what is happening.. I am giving it one star until I find a solution. I am frustrated.

First time VR and I can say that it's worth its money even though the product is more expensive than the PS5 itself. Very good sensation. Takes you to another world. I give it 4 stars because Sony needs to enrich it with games and applications.
It has a very good sensation. At first, it makes you dizzy but you get used to it. The games are cheaper compared to regular ones and at regular prices. The construction is of good quality. I recommend games like Horizon, which is very good, and Creed (boxing). It's fun and makes you sweat!

The game included had a problem with the controllers from the beginning, which worried me because I was afraid it might be a hardware issue. However, the problem is easily solved with a trick I found online. I almost didn't deduct a star because ultimately the PS VR2 itself is an amazing product and I would be unfair to it.

The PlayStation VR2 may seem expensive, as it costs €50 more than the PlayStation 5 itself that you will need to use, but even so, the technological and functional leap that is being made compared to the original PlayStation VR is huge. It comes improved in every aspect from its predecessor and at the same time brings new features and technologies that impress, some of which do not exist in other VR headsets on the market. The easy connection and use, the 4K HDR OLED screen, and the exceptional Sense controllers are the most obvious improvements. Its disadvantages are the lack of compatibility with the original PlayStation VR games, the low quality of the materials used in the controllers, and their short battery life. So if you are a PlayStation 5 owner and want to start the magical journey into the world of virtual reality, the PlayStation VR2 is here for you.

The image quality is very good. In the negatives, I believe the most important thing is that you can't do much besides gaming. I don't know if they will fix it with an update in the future and we will be able to watch videos or movies, because in the early VR you could do everything. If they fix that too, it deserves 5 stars. For now, 4

Very beautiful image, 3D sound, you get lost in the game, it also supports wearing glasses because it has these soft rubber bands that do not obstruct. It is worth buying, we just expect more games to come out to support its cost. Horizon is very well made, truly impressive. I tried playing sitting down and in half an hour I got incredibly dizzy. When I played the next day standing up, it was a much better feeling, but it's not a game that I could play for many consecutive hours. After an hour and something, I have to close it because the VR sensation tires me

Guys, it's really AMAZING. It has a super light, clear image and right off the bat has 4-5 must-buy titles (Horizon//SW//RE8//GT7) that are complete and not just demos, and by the time we finish them, there will be just as many new ones. Far better experience even than expensive PC VR.

Good evening, so I have never held VR in my hands before and I must admit that I was amazed. The image quality is impeccable, but it also depends on the correct settings you have made. I really didn't expect it, of course, because I had never had such an experience before, I got a little dizzy at first, took a break, and everything was okay. Of course, then I realized that I hadn't set it to 120hz, but to 60hz, and I believe that was the reason I got dizzy. Also, I want to mention that in Cinema Mode, you have a screen of up to 88", but the resolution goes from 4K to 1080P, and that surprises me. Maybe in the future, this will change with an upgrade, and in my opinion, it should, considering the price. The controllers are flawless and surprisingly very lightweight, which I didn't expect.

For more, you can check out my channel. I hope I helped.

  • It is very nice, I understand the hype, the experience is incredible, especially with Resident Evil, it was extreme, as if you are actually there.
