After purchasing the dehumidifier and as soon as the notification for filter replacement appeared, I saw that it was quite expensive... so I searched for a similar car cabin filter. I found a matching size and it fits perfectly with Volvo S40II! The simple white filter like the one the dehumidifier has costs about €5 for the economical ones and goes up depending on the brand... I got a carbon filter for €8! It fit perfectly and there is no difference in air flow compared to before... I totally recommend it!
Μετα την αγορά του αφυγραντηρα και μόλις βγήκε η ειδοποίηση για αλλαγή φιλτρου είδα ότι είναι αρκετά ακριβο.. και έψαξα αντίστοιχο φίλτρο καμπίνας αυτοκινητου. Βρήκα αντιστοιχία διαστάσεων και ταιριάζει απόλυτα με volvo s40II ! Το απλό λευκό φίλτρο όπως αυτό που έχει ο αφυγραντήρας έχει γύρω στα 5€ τα οικονομικά και ανάλογα τη μάρκα ανεβαίνει.. εγώ πήρα φίλτρο άνθρακα με 8€ ! Ταίριαξε απόλυτα και δεν έχει καμία διαφορά η ροή αέρα συγκριτικά με το πριν.. το προτείνω απολυτα!
attention when it says 3 months it means to work 24 hours a day and in air purifier mode. that is, it must work 2160 hours or 90 days continuously. if, for example, it works 10 hours a day as a dehumidifier and air purifier then it will last about 7 months.. that's what I understood from the manual.. it also depends on the temperature and humidity of your space.. 22 degrees 60% humidity. these are the typical values

Yeah I was a bit hesitant ordering the filters from Greek sites that had a lack of the uhh...latin alphabet, but here, skroutz came in clutch kinda.
Bought 3 filters at once to avoid shipping, all arrived almost precisely on time, delivery was fine & the billing was fine as well so I recommend skroutz for these kinda niche products that you can't find anywhere else. (I tried)
As for the filters, they are better than the stock one that came with the Inventor Comfort 20l dehumidifier honestly, they have a foam around the edge of it so it forms a better air-tight seal so air doesn't go around the filter. Seems to work like a charm, doesn't block flow as much as the old grimy one did & am looking forward to the cleaner air thanks to it! They are pricey though damn...should've maybe picked a dehumidifier with cheaper filters...

Because I did not use the dehumidifier on a daily basis for 24 hours, my filter lasted for over a year. The new filter was not the same as the one that originally came with the dehumidifier, which was identical on both sides. The new filter has one side that is like the old filter, and on the other side, it has a black mesh. The store where I bought it told me that the black mesh is facing towards the dehumidifier, while the regular side, like the old filter, faces outward (where the air enters). They also informed me that the company (inventor) changed the design of the filter, and this is how the specific new filter is now.
The air purification with this filter truly saved us during the fires last year in Evros, by cleaning the smoke and harmful particles from inside the house. We had our air-conditioning units closed (both without air recycling) and all windows and balcony doors closed. Outside, the atmosphere was suffocating and everything was covered in ashes, but inside the house, you could breathe clean air, despite the intense heat. Having a child, this filter literally saved us!

It is a very nice and very good filter, the only drawback is that you cannot clean it if you put it in this dehumidifier because it is also used for the car's air conditioning.

Το μαύρο πλέγμα μου είπαν από το κατάστημα που το αγόρασα ότι κοιτάει προς τον αφυγραντήρα ενώ η κανονική όψη όπως ήταν και το παλιό φίλτρο κοιτάει προς τα έξω (από εκεί εισέρχεται ο αέρας), δηλαδή την βλέπεις όταν τοποθετείς το φίλτρο. Επίσης με ενημέρωσαν ότι η εταιρία (inventor) άλλαξε το σχέδιο του φίλτρου και πλέον έτσι είναι το συγκεκριμένο νέο φίλτρο.
Ο καθαρισμός αέρα με αυτό το φίλτρο μας έσωσε πραγματικά με τις φωτιές πέρσι στον Έβρο για να καθαρίζει την κάπνα και τα βλαβερά σωματίδια μέσα από το σπίτι. Ήμασταν με κλειστά air-condition (και τα δύο δεν έχουν ανακύκλωση αέρα) και κλειστά όλα τα παράθυρα και μπαλκονόπορτες. Έξω η ατμόσφαιρα ήταν αποπνικτική και όλα είχαν γεμίσει στάχτες αλλά μέσα στο σπίτι μπορούσες να αναπνεύσεις καθαρό αέρα και ας είχε πάρα πολύ ζέστη. Έχοντας και ένα παιδί κυριολεκτικά μας έσωσε αυτό το φίλτρο!
It is a very nice and very good filter, the only drawback is that you cannot clean it if you put it in this dehumidifier because it is also used for the car's air conditioning.

After purchasing the dehumidifier and as soon as the notification for filter replacement appeared, I saw that it was quite expensive... so I searched for a similar car cabin filter. I found a matching size and it fits perfectly with Volvo S40II! The simple white filter like the one the dehumidifier has costs about €5 for the economical ones and goes up depending on the brand... I got a carbon filter for €8! It fit perfectly and there is no difference in air flow compared to before... I totally recommend it!
Μετα την αγορά του αφυγραντηρα και μόλις βγήκε η ειδοποίηση για αλλαγή φιλτρου είδα ότι είναι αρκετά ακριβο.. και έψαξα αντίστοιχο φίλτρο καμπίνας αυτοκινητου. Βρήκα αντιστοιχία διαστάσεων και ταιριάζει απόλυτα με volvo s40II ! Το απλό λευκό φίλτρο όπως αυτό που έχει ο αφυγραντήρας έχει γύρω στα 5€ τα οικονομικά και ανάλογα τη μάρκα ανεβαίνει.. εγώ πήρα φίλτρο άνθρακα με 8€ ! Ταίριαξε απόλυτα και δεν έχει καμία διαφορά η ροή αέρα συγκριτικά με το πριν.. το προτείνω απολυτα!
attention when it says 3 months it means to work 24 hours a day and in air purifier mode. that is, it must work 2160 hours or 90 days continuously. if, for example, it works 10 hours a day as a dehumidifier and air purifier then it will last about 7 months.. that's what I understood from the manual.. it also depends on the temperature and humidity of your space.. 22 degrees 60% humidity. these are the typical values
προσοχή όταν λέει 3 μήνες εννοεί να δουλεύει 24 ώρες την ημέρα και σε λειτουργία καθαριστή αέρα.πρέπει δηλαδή να δουλεύει 2160 ώρες ήτοι 90 μέρες συνέχεια.εάν δουλεύει πχ 10 ώρες την ημέρα αφύγρανση και καθαριστής αέρα τότε θα κρατήσει περίπου 7 μήνες..αυτό κατάλαβα απο το manual..επίσης εξαρτάται και απο τη θερμοκρασία και υγρασία του χώρου σας..22βαθμοί 60% υγρασία.είναι τα τυπικά

Yeah I was a bit hesitant ordering the filters from Greek sites that had a lack of the uhh...latin alphabet, but here, skroutz came in clutch kinda.
Bought 3 filters at once to avoid shipping, all arrived almost precisely on time, delivery was fine & the billing was fine as well so I recommend skroutz for these kinda niche products that you can't find anywhere else. (I tried)
As for the filters, they are better than the stock one that came with the Inventor Comfort 20l dehumidifier honestly, they have a foam around the edge of it so it forms a better air-tight seal so air doesn't go around the filter. Seems to work like a charm, doesn't block flow as much as the old grimy one did & am looking forward to the cleaner air thanks to it! They are pricey though damn...should've maybe picked a dehumidifier with cheaper filters...

Because I did not use the dehumidifier on a daily basis for 24 hours, my filter lasted for over a year. The new filter was not the same as the one that originally came with the dehumidifier, which was identical on both sides. The new filter has one side that is like the old filter, and on the other side, it has a black mesh. The store where I bought it told me that the black mesh is facing towards the dehumidifier, while the regular side, like the old filter, faces outward (where the air enters). They also informed me that the company (inventor) changed the design of the filter, and this is how the specific new filter is now.
The air purification with this filter truly saved us during the fires last year in Evros, by cleaning the smoke and harmful particles from inside the house. We had our air-conditioning units closed (both without air recycling) and all windows and balcony doors closed. Outside, the atmosphere was suffocating and everything was covered in ashes, but inside the house, you could breathe clean air, despite the intense heat. Having a child, this filter literally saved us!
